Strokes to be taken in accordance with the Score Card Index. Additional Competitions And How They Are Played Ambrose Events. An Ambrose is usually played by teams of four players but may be varied as specified for smaller teams. The conditions of play will be advised on the day. 1. If player A’s ball is selected then player B plays next. Shots are then played alternately until holed. Handicap is ½ of the combined handicaps.

American Foursomes. - Both players play tee shots at each hole, and then play a second stroke with their partner’s ball. One ball is then selected and play proceeds as in Foursomes with the OWNER of the ball selected playing the third shot. Handicap is 3/8 of the combined handicaps.
