ATTENTION PARISHIONERS

We are blessed to have a strong ministry of service to our brothers and sisters in need through our food pantry. Throughout the hot days of summer, our dedicated volunteers have packaged and distributed food each Tuesday. During the month of June our pantry served a total of 2502 adults, children and elderly; in May the total was 3423. The need is great and we are blessed to have grants to help provide for so many. However, the pantry staff is reaching out to our parish community for help. Beginning this September, the pantry will choose one item that will help them to meet the needs of the hungry among us. We will collect that item on the second Sunday of the month. On Sunday September 11, a day of special significance, we will begin this effort by cooking oil to help needy families. Please consider helping in this work of mercy to feed the hungry. Thank You! 4
