From the Parish House: Farewell and Hail! This month Dennis Taricco ends his time with us as our PAR (Parish Assessment and Renewal) Coordinator. He has guided and pushed and cajoled us through the reorganization of our parish advisory boards: our Ministry Commissions and Pastoral Council. He has been invaluable in working with our Pastoral Team. We thank him for his time and expertise and practical help and encouragement these past six months. One of the top priorities from the consultation with the parish this past year in our PAR process was the call for a Pastoral Administrator. After a process of applications and interviews, I am very happy to announce that Deacon Greg Yeager has accepted our offer to be the Pastoral Associate for Mission and Administration. His ministry will include the responsibility to continue to shepherd the continuing PAR process, coordinate and be a resource to our administrative and pastoral ministries, and, with the two priests of the parish, provide pastoral care. Greg, a Deacon of our Diocese, has worked as a pastoral associate at St. Anne’s in Lodi, and, until now, at St. Joachim’s in Lockeford. We are more than happy that he will now be working here with us. Welcome! De la Casa Parroquial: Despedida! Este mes Dennis Taricco finaliza su tiempo con nosotros como nuestro Coordinador de PAR (Evaluación y Renovación Parroquial). Nos ha guiado a través de la reorganización parroquial: las Comisiones y el Consejo Pastoral. El ha sido una pieza clave en nuestro Equipo Pastoral. En los últimos seis meses, le damos las gracias por su tiempo, conocimiento, ayuda y apoyo. Una de las prioridades en nuestro proceso con PAR el año pasado era contratar un Asociado Pastoral. Después de un proceso de entrevistas, me complace anunciar que el Diácono Greg Yeager acepto ser el Asociado Pastoral para llevar acabo la Misión y Administración. La responsabilidad de su ministerio es de continuar el proceso PAR, trabajar con el párroco, ser un recurso para nuestros ministerios administrativos y pastorals junto con los dos sacerdotes de la parroquia, y llevar acabo el cuidado pastoral. El señor Greg, es un Diácono de nuestra Diócesis, ha trabajado como el Asociado Pastoral en la Iglesia Santa Ana en Lodi, y hasta hoy, en la Iglesia de San Joachim en Lockeford. Estamos contentos de que él va a trabajar con nosotros. ¡Bienvenido!

Nuestras sesiones están abiertas a cualquier persona que necesite compania durante estos momentos de dolor. Annunciation Bereavement Ministry will be holding the next Bereavement Session on: Wednesday, February, 1st 2017 for families who have lost a loved. Our sessions are open to anyone who needs to work through this difficult time of grief. The words "Life has changed not ended" is a powerful reminder that life moves forward and that death is something that we simply cannot avoid. Our sessions will accommodate both children and anyone who might only speak Spanish. Please call Yvonne at the Parish House (463-1305) with any questions you might have or for more information.
