welcome to bungay festival Children’s activities, concerts, Shakespeare, a flower festival, cultural events, lots of fun – it all means the Bungay Summer Festival is with us once again. The two-week festival begins on July 11th, the result of several months planning by the festival committee under chairman Jason Collins, and I am grateful to all of them for their commitment in seeing this popular annual event continues. Our thanks too, to the sponsors of the festival. Without their support the festival could not happen. Now it is up to the community to support the work put in and the support given by attending all the events in good numbers and enjoying the wide-ranging programme of events that have been drawn up - some new events, some tried and tested popular ones, all, a credit to the organisations and individuals who are staging them and helping to show what Bungay has to offer. Full details of prices and tickets are in this programme. So let the festival begin! Enjoy it! Terry Reeve Town Reeve of Bungay
