13. Studentenwettbewerb „Textile Strukturen für neues Bauen“. So entstehen tragfähige Lösungen: innovative Denkansätze von Studierenden und Young Professionals.
An der Jobwall informieren Aussteller über offene Stellen, Praktika und studienbegleitende Angebote in ihrem Unternehmen. Während der Messetage ist die Jobwall auch online erreichbar.
Das Bauen mit Textilien und textilarmierten Werkstoffen fasziniert Architekten und Auftraggeber in aller Welt. Diese Materialien ermöglichen völlig neue Designs und Funktionen. Die Techtextil und der internationale Verband TensiNet als Sponsor veranstalten diesen Wettbewerb. Ziel ist die Realisierung von neuen markttauglichen Lösungsansätzen für aktuelle architektonische Herausforderungen. Lassen Sie sich von den außergewöhnlichen Ergebnissen überraschen. Die Sonderschau bietet Ihnen tiefe Einblicke in diese aufregende Thematik. Eingeladen waren die Studierenden der Fachrichtungen Bauingenieurwesen, Produktdesign und anderer verwandter Bereiche. Betreut wird der Wettbewerb von Prof. Dr. Dr. E.h. Dr. h.c. Werner Sobek, Leiter des Instituts für Leichtbau, Entwerfen und Konstruieren der Universität Stuttgart. Die Preisverleihung findet am 4. Mai 2015 um 16.00 Uhr auf dem Areal der Sonderschau statt.

Vielfalt und Ästhetik: technische Textilien in ungewöhnlichen Kontexten. Mit der Ausstellung „Textiled Spaces“ zeigt die Techtextil gemeinsam mit Architonic, ein unabhängiges Nachschlagewerk für Architektur und Design, ausgewählte Fotografien der in Paris lebenden Künstlerin und Fotografin Deidi von Schaewen. Für tausendfach verkaufte Fotobücher der Verlage Taschen, Mitchell Beazley oder Flammarion bereiste die international renommierte Fotografin die Welt. Dabei hatte sie immer auch ein ganz eigenes Auge für die Schönheit vergänglicher Bauten und urbaner Installationen. Diese fotografischen „Souvenirs“ haben sich nun über viele Jahre zu einem ganz eigenen Werk verdichtet. Die Ausstellung regt den Betrachter dazu an, einen neuen Blick für die Schönheit dieser textilen Räume zu entwickeln.

Innovative Apparel Show Foyer Hallen 5.1/6.1
Bühne frei für eine Premiere: High-Tech live on stage. Spektakulär und noch nie dagewesen: Freuen Sie sich auf ein ganz besonderes Highlight der Techtextil und der parallel stattfindenden Texprocess. Vier Hoch- und Modeschulen aus Deutschland und der Schweiz präsentieren im Rahmen einer Modenschau innovative Bekleidungstextilien und Verarbeitungstechnologien. Dabei handelt es sich ausschließlich um exklusiv angefertigte Unikate. Besuchen Sie eine der täglich stattfindenden Shows. Darüber wird die Branche reden. Choreografiert und moderiert wird das faszinierende Event von dem international bekannten Showproduzenten Kevin Oakes aus Südafrika. Die Show-Zeiten im Foyer der Hallen 5.1/6.1: 4. 13th Student Competition “Textile Structures for New Building”. Developing sustainable solutions – innovative concepts from students and young professionals.
Exhibitors use the Jobwall to advertise positions, internships and student work placements in their companies. The Jobwall is also available online during the fair.
Constructing with textiles and textile-reinforced materials fascinates architects and builders all over the world. These materials enable completely new designs and functions. Techtextil and the international TensiNet trade association as sponsor are organising this competition. The aim is to realise new, marketable solutions for contemporary architectural challenges. Experience an incredibly diverse range of findings. The special show offers in-depth insights into this exciting theme. Students of civil engineering, product design and related subjects were invited to take part in this competition, which is being overseen by Professor Werner Sobek, Director of the Institute for Lightweight Structures and Structural Engineering at the University of Stuttgart. The award ceremony will be held on 4 May 2015 at 16:00 at the special show area.

Diversity and aesthetics: Technical textiles in unusual contexts. At the Textiled Spaces exhibition, Techtextil and Architonic, the independent resource for architecture and design, will showcase selected photographs from the works of artist and photographer Deidi von Schaewen of Paris. For her photo books, published thousand fold by Taschen, Mitchell Beazley and Flammarion editorials, the internationally renowned photographer has travelled the world, always with a very dedicated eye for the beauty of transient buildings and urban installations. Over time, these photographic souvenirs have consolidated into one very special oeuvre. The aim of the exhibition is to inspire visitors to see the beauty of these textile rooms from a different perspective.

Curtain up for a premiere: High-tech live on stage. Spectacular and groundbreaking. Look forward to a very special highlight of Techtextil and the parallel Texprocess. Four universities and fashion colleges from Germany and Switzerland are presenting innovative apparel textiles and processing technologies in a fashion show. The products are exclusively crafted one-offs. Visit one of the daily shows – the talking point of the industry. The outstanding event is being choreographed and moderated by internationally renowned show producer Kevin Oakes from South Africa.
