The exhibitions 20-24 September 2011 - Cersaie, Area 48 Ceramics of Italy. Metamorfosi
An original and inspiring exhibit that explores all of the elements of the ceramic sector: tiles, sanitaryware, installation materials and tabletop. Metamorfosi shows the eclectic character of Italian ceramics and the creativity of emerging Italian designers able to give significance and form to the imaginative installations. All eight settings suggest a way to interpret the concept of metamorphosis. A theme that is both ancient and very current, the metamorphosis is focused on materials, the vision of the designers, but also on the use of these objects in a reality that is different and unexpected. 16-25 September 2011 - Bologna, City Centre Cersaie Downtown. The Streets of Design
The city of Bologna will be transformed for a few days into an innovative open-air design exhibit. Elements of ceramics and bathroom furnishings will be on display to the public in an experience that is both tactile and visual - allowing the touch of the hand so that viewers can experience the quality of the ceramics as well as their evocative capacity, as interpreted in new trends for living in public and private spaces.
