(SWIMSHOP) Sports Club AZS AWF Katowice SWIMSHOP Battle is an international swimming event including SWIMSHOP Cup Competition and conference for both coaches and swimming enthusiasts. Apart from the races and lectures, there are many attractions provided for international participants, such as sightseeing or a WIBIT AQUA TRACK COMPETITION. There are also very attractive prizes waiting for those who will prove to be the best. Find out more about the programme of the event, special attractions during it, rules and regulations and awards awaiting the best participating swimmers. We would like to ask you to turn to sports clubs in your country, forward this information to them, and encourage them to take part in the International SWIMSHOP Battle. Please, let them and other swimmers know about the event also by, for example, placing a banner or special note on your website. Do not hesitate and confirm your attendance as the limit is set to just 600 participants. Join us!

Coaches Conference: The Conference will be held at the Academy’s Premises (Aula) The detailed programme of the presentations and lectures to be advised shortly, timeline set: 8.00am - 8.50am – Conference material handed out to participants 9.00am – Conference start 9.15am - 10:45am – Lectures 10:45am - 11:00am – Coffee break 11:00am - 12:30pm – Lectures 12:30pm - 2:00pm – Lectures 2:00pm - 3:00pm – Lunch 3:15pm - 4:45pm – Lectures 5:00pm - 6:30pm – Lectures 6:30pm -7:15pm – Supper 7:30pm – Leaving to meeting before the event The conference programme will include speeches of Polish and foreign speakers. The lectures will be simultaneously translated into Polish and English. The participation cost for the entire conference incl. material is 199 PLN/equivalent to 50 Euro per participant. SWIMSHOP BATTLE: Rules of participation 1. Send a letter of application for the event by August 15, 2011. 2. Pay a deposit of 30% / the whole sum of money by August 15, 2011. 3. Every participant has the right to be involved in 3 or 6 competitions according to the start package. Additionally, they can take part in 3 relay races. 4. FINA and PZP regulations are in force during the competition. 5. Competitors at every age have the right to participate in the competition. However, they will be classified according to age groups.

Technical conditions 1. Swimming pool length - 25m, 6 tracks + 2 side tracks for dispersion (not in use) 2. Warm-up pool - 15m, 4 tracks 3. Water temperature - 27OC 4. Time measurment - OMEGA TIMING

Age groups - 12 years old and younger W/M (n/a 400m Individual Medley) - 13-15 year olds W/M - 16-18 year olds W/M - OPEN

Technical regulations 1. The competition will be conducted as overlap series. 2. The series will be held from the weakest to the strongest. 3. The best result achieved tgroughout the last 12 months counts.

Awards 1. 1st -3rd place in each of the age categories – a diploma, a medal and a prize 2.Relay races (OPEN classification) - relays of I i II block, 1st - 3rd places are rewarded with a diploma and medals (prizes depend on sponsors) 3. Swimshop relay - 1st - 3rd places are rewarded as follows: 1st – Performance lab test with result analysis of the winning team (8 swimmers) + Swimshop gadgets 2nd – Swimshop caps for the entire team (50 pcs) - with club logo 3rd – Swimshop towels/t-shirts and bags
