PARISH RENEWAL In October 2011, we conducted our annual Stewardship Appeal and many of you offered your time and talent to “Help Make A Good Parish Become A Better One”. At the same time, the Parish Council and I met to focus on ways to breathe new life into our parish. Consequently, we are initiating 3 parish committees to help fulfill our mission in 2012 and beyond: Liturgy Committee: Coordinates recruitment and formation of ministers, prepares for each of the liturgical seasons, and enhances the beauty of the celebration of the Sacred Liturgy. Spiritual Development Committee: Coordinates and maintains an ongoing variety of spiritual awareness workshops, religious retreats, and pilgrimage travel opportunities to enhance and support individual spiritual health and well-being. Hospitality Committee: Coordinates and maintains a calendar of social gatherings to promote and strengthen parish fellowship and unity: Celebrating religious and public holidays, welcoming new parishioners, and experiencing the ethnic and cultural diversity of our parish community. Please consider joining these committees and participate in our 2012 PARISH RENEWAL. Call (212683-1675) 0r email ([email protected]) to volunteer. Initial committee meetings will be announced later this month. FEEDING OUR NEIGHBORS A Catholic Response
