TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. All provisional Christmas bookings must be confirmed within 14 days of booking and a deposit of £10 per person ( £20 per person for New Years Dinner Dance, £10 per person for New Year’s Family Party) is payable with confirmation.
11. The Client is responsible for any damage caused to the hotel rooms or furnishings, utensils and equipment by any act, default or neglect by the client, or guests of the client, and shall pay the hotel on demand the amount required to remedy any such damage.
2. All bookings must be made in full 2 weeks prior to event date. If the booking is less than 7 days from the date of event, payment in full is required immediately.
12. The behavior of a party guest is the responsibility of the organiser and the hotel reserves the right to refuse services to any guest who acts in an inappropriate manner. Such guest may be asked to leave the hotel to ensure the enjoyment of all other party guests, without refund of monies. We also reserve the right to refuse entrance at the manager’s discretion.
3. The rates referenced in the brochure and/or price list are inclusive of VAT at 20%, the hotel reserves the right to increase the level of VAT subject to legislative increases. 4. We regret that all payments received, including deposits are non refundable and non transferable. 5. We regret that should your party size decrease in numbers, payments (including deposits) cannot be off set against food, beverage or accommodation. Final numbers must be confirmed 2 weeks prior to event date. Failure to do so will result in the hotel charging in full for all deposited places. 6. If the final amount is not settled in advance the hotel has the right to cancel your booking. 7. In the unlikely event that the hotel is obliged to cancel the function, for any reason other than those stated above, all monies will be refunded or an alternative date or location will be offered, without liability to the hotel or to Holiday Inn. 8. No additional food or beverage of any kind is permitted into the hotel by party organisers or guests. 9. Should a party organiser require an account to be set up for bar charges, then this may be organized by prior arrangement only. Once arrangements have been agreed for the evening, it will be assumed that all charges are payable by the organiser, irrespective of whether the account is checked and signed at the end of the event. 10. If you have any dietary requirements, our Christmas coordinator will be delighted to assist. Please ask for details at the time of booking. Special dietary requirements must be notified at least 14 days prior to the event date. Allergen information is available upon request.
13. The hotel reserves the right to alter function details which shall be dependent on numbers. 14. All accommodation is the responsibility of the individual guest and must be settled prior to arrival unless otherwise agreed in writing by the hotel. All accomodation rates quoted are pre-payable and non refundable.
18. All offers are subject to availability. 19. The Holiday Inn Corby- Kettering A43 reserves the right to alter any menus without notice if supplier or quality issues arise. 20. Under 16’s are not allowed to party nights and the New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner. 21. Once a deposit is received you are bound by the terms and conditions as stated above. 22. For all our events we operate a responsible drinking policy and ask all guests not to drink to excess. Tap water is available free of charge to all upon request. For any free bar events this will contain a selection of sprits, draught and bottled beer, alcopops, soft drinks and wine in standard measures. As with all events, any guests we deem intoxicated will not be served. 23. Holiday Inns Kids Eat free policy does not apply to party nights, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve unless the child is under the age of 3.
15. It is recommended that all wine for parties is pre ordered to avoid any delays on the evening. For this reason the Christmas Wine list will be dispatched with your confirmation once your booking has been taken, this will allow you to pre book your wine. Discount for preordered drinks is available until 30th November 2015. 16. The hotel can accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any loss, damage or thefts to guests personal property. 17. The hotel shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing any of its obligations under this agreement or liable to an attendee or guest for any loss or damage to property. If the failure or delay was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control, including (without limitation) terrorist activity or serious potential for terrorist activity whether within the proximity of the hotel or in the UK or Worldwide and directly or indirectly affecting the UK, misconduct or negligence of an attendee guest or external third party, war or threat of war, civil or political action or disturbance, riot, natural disaster, fire, epidemic, bad weather, terrorist activity (threatened or actual), military activity, government or regulatory action, industrial dispute, act of God, failure of power or machinery failure of or interruption in externally provided services and utilities, and all similar events outside the hotels control.
