OLD BRIDGE WINE This is a brief listing of wines on sale, but excludes all of our 'Wines To Cellar' our 'Bin Ends' and also Spirits. For the full list of all our wines, including details on every bottle, go to: WWW.HUNTSBRIDGE.COM or WWW.OLDBRIDGEWINE.CO.UK Most wine shops try to impress with a big choice of inexpensive bottles and huge discounts. Our aim is to sell wines that are all outstanding of their type, at all price levels. We are lucky enough to be offered some of the world’s rarest wines, which are made in small quantities and often only sold to restaurants. Unlike almost every other shop, we cellar our fine wines until I feel they are ready to drink. We also aim to be competitive: for the wines that can be found elsewhere, we will often be the best priced. Supermarket discounts are generally a con (for some brands it’s the only way they can sell themselves). See over the page for our discount policy. Price has to be seen in relation to quality – judge us by what’s in the bottle. John Hoskins, Master of Wine Twice winner of the AA Guide’s “Wine Award” for the best restaurant wine list in the United Kingdom.

PRICES a) We are very competitive! Take Billecart-Salmon Champagne: our price is possibly the best in the UK - and for a classic estate making wine that is sought after by almost every top restaurant in Europe. b) We don't believe in selling primarily through discounts - we want you to buy on real value, not an illusion. c) But we do have a few mixed cases at a discount every month, see next pages. We can arrange for a case to be sent to you on a monthly basis if you wish, or every 2 or 3 months as you prefer. Just specify whether you would prefer white, red or a mixture - and how often you would like the case. We would phone for payment each time you ordered. d) We also have a few odd wines on offer every month. See prices in red. This is normally where we have bought a large parcel at a discount and so can pass that reduction on. e) We also have a bin end selection (when we only have 2 or 3 bottles left we slash the price to ensure they sell quickly). Bin ends are not on the list - come and see them in the shop or look on the website. f) And of course we offer quantity discounts: 5% on any case of 12 full bottles (excluding bin ends/promotions), 10% on an un-mixed case of 12. g) We also give £1 re-cycling discount when you re-use (for 4 bottles+) your Old Bridge wine boxes!

WINE TASTING Wine tasting is a key part of the shop at the Old Bridge. We have 24 bottles open (all day, every day) preserved by the state-of-the-art ‘Enomatic’ system, which also dispenses the wines to you individually, so you can taste on your own. If you do want help or advice, however, there is always someone on hand. The selection changes every month. There are always several fine wines included. See SHOP TASTINGS on the website for the current selection. You can buy a tasting card for £10 or £15. Each sample is priced individually, but on average a £10 card will enable you to taste 8-12 wines. You can keep your tasting card and top it up as required. For up to 10 people, simply come in whenever it suits you. You can buy nibbles (olives, nuts etc) to accompany your tasting. Or, with a few hours notice, we can provide canapés for £6.95 (4 different sorts). For groups of 11 – 30 we can give you exclusive use of the shop for up to an hour’s tasting, but we do ask for a minimum charge of £16.95 per head, which includes a £12 tasting card per person and canapés. Parties/groups can also book ‘Tutored Tastings’ with John Hoskins MW, followed by lunch or dinner. Just ask for the leaflet with the full information.
