WHO THIS IS NOT FOR This class is not meant for someone who has no or very little makeup and/or hair products/tools. For example: If you only have 2 types of makeup brushes, 1 foundation color, 1 lipstick and 1 blush and a few other things then this class if not for you. As mentioned above I want to provide the highest quality course and learning experience to my students. If you don’t have the tools or are not willing to buy the tools prior to class then you won’t be able to learn much and I won’t be able to examine your techniques sufficiently to grant you a certificate. FAQ’S What can I expect when I come to class? • You and your model will arrive on location 15-30 minutes before class and be greeted by me or one of my helpers to sign in • You will be seated and asked to start setting up your makeup at your desk prior to class commencing • You will receive all the handouts and itinerary for the day • The class has scheduled time slots for each look but it is a very non-formal setting where students are encouraged to ask questions as I teach or come up and watch up close • After each main step is demonstrated I will be going around the room to help each students and we will proceed once majority of students are ready to move on and questions are answered • The class is tailored to help the students and therefore any questions that I have not scheduled into the agenda I will try my best to demonstrate/answer during class Will I really be able to learn all you mentioned in 2 days? • Yes. My classes are not based around theory and the history of makeup like traditional beauty schools may focus on. • I jump right into practical and real-life makeup techniques that actually matter once you are on the job. I have learned fast and quick short-cuts on teaching students so they can pick up the techniques immediately. 37 What do I need to bring to class? • Student will need to bring 1 model with them to work on for the class (siblings, family, friends, etc) that are not individuals who are also looking to get into the wedding industry • Further instructions will be provided on the makeup products and other items you are recommended to bring with you once you sign up What if I don’t own a lot of makeup? • Most students are just starting out with makeup artistry and will not have a full kit built (I will be discussing how to build you kit in class).
