Florida Panthers: Head Coach and Player Bios Head Coach: Tom Rowe Named interim head coach on Nov. 28, 2016, General Manager Tom Rowe previously served as the head coach of Florida’s American Hockey League affiliates in Portland and San Antonio (2013-16). The native of Lynn, Mass., served as an assistant coach with the Carolina Hurricanes (2008-11) helping lead the team to the Eastern Conference Finals in his first season. He won the Stanley Cup with the Hurricanes organization in 2006.
