Holcim...
Your partner for sophisticated solutions. Holcim is one of the world's leading suppliers of cement, aggregates, ready-mix concrete, asphalt and constructionrelated services. Founded in 1912 in Switzerland, today the Group operates in over 70 countries across all continents and employs a workforce of some 90,000 people. As a partner for sophisticated solutions, Holcim consistently combines its product strategy with complementary services in application consultancy and supply chain management to meet the expectations of the market and our customers.
While the use of special binders in road construction and geotechnical engineering is still at the beginning of its full potential, special cements such as regulated set cements, expansive cements, super-sulphated cements, white cements, high-alumina cements, and oilwell cements are already widely used in industrial applications. For the full range of well solutions, Holcim provides its customers with a specific set of special cements: Drillwell®, Drillwell plus®, and SPINOR®, produced in Europe, Russia and Asia.
In addition to standard cements, Holcim is increasingly investing in applications involving special cements and special binders.

The right solutions for your applications. The Drillwell® solution. This cement is produced and certified as class A cement in accordance with API classifications published in API specification 10A. The product is intended for applications that do not require special properties. It is available in ordinary grade [0]. On special request, grade [MSR] is offered as an option.
The SPINOR® solution. SPINOR® is an ultra-finely ground blast furnace slag-clinker binder available in two different grades:
Drillwell®
• SPINOR® A32 < 32 µm max. particle size • SPINOR® A12 < 12 µm max. particle size
Class A cement is similar to ASTM C 150, type I, with regard to both chemistry and fineness. The cement is used in shallower applications, down to 6,000 feet (1,830 m) when no particular high-performance characteristics are required. SPINOR®
