• 1-can of chalk board spray paint • 1-5” terra cotta pot • chalk

Waves of Color
Orchids can add a pop of color to any room. Now, you can brighten up your home or workspace even more so by incorporating paint on your plant’s pot!
Supplies:
Directions:
• Just Add Ice Orchid
• Pour acrylic/glass paint into the bottom of the vase
• Glass vase larger than orchid grower pot
• Hold the vase in your hands and tip it until the paint rolls around the inside, creating waves of color
• Acrylic/glass paint
• Tilt in different directions and leave some of the vase clear for interesting contrast. Let dry.
• Oil-based paint marker to compliment acrylic paint color

Make ‘Em Special Stencil
Instead of giving multiple people the same orchid gift, you can make them feel special with a touch of personalization. One great way to personalize each orchid gift is to create a unique stencil on its pot.
Supplies: • Just Add Ice Orchid • Ceramic orchid pot • Ceramic paint • Flat brush • Vinyl stencils

Directions: • Clean the ceramic pot and read the instructions on the paint container • Wait for the pot to dry before applying the stencil that you have previously created or purchased • Since the pot is not flat, the stencil will be a little wrinkled. Just make sure that the stencil is flat • The painting should be done in a tapping motion, not brushing up and down or side to side • To avoid painting outside the stencil, apply some blue tape around its edges • After you have finished painting, remove the stencil and let the paint dry for one hour • Bake the ceramic pot at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
