Welcome to the Gwendolyn Britt Senior Activity Center December 2015, January and February 2016 Hours of Operation - Monday-Friday 9am-3:30pm Please note the center will be closed on: Friday, December 25 – Christmas Day Friday, January 1 – New Year’s Day Monday, January 18 – Martin Luther King’s Birthday Monday, February 15 – President’s Day     

Winter Registration Registration begins Monday, November 9 for residents. o Note: the center will open at 7am only on Nov. 9 to assist with registration. Registration begins Monday, November 16 for non-residents. Winter Classes/Trips – Sign up early, trips fill on a first come, first serve basis. Please register at least one week prior to the class/trip start date so we can plan accordingly. A minimum number of registrants are required for programs to be held. See refund policy on back page.

Please note, this is not guaranteed and may be changed. Here are some of the vehicles we use: * M-NCPPC activity bus - small tan or white bus * Commission bus - large (27 passenger), white bus * Charter bus - a private company is contracted to provide a bus (typically 40-50 passengers). TRIP REFUNDS:   

No trip refunds unless the trip is cancelled or your registration is replaced by someone on the waiting list. You MUST contact the center if you must cancel your reservation. Please use our parking lot! Only if our parking lot is full is additional parking for participants and visitors permitted across the street at the church parking lot (in the spaces in front of the fence ONLY).

Massages in the Enchanted Oasis Room Rejuvenate, restore, and relax your body with a soothing massage. Chair and table massages are available by a licensed massage therapist. The food court has 23 eateries such as Chevy’s Fresh Mex, Buffalo Wild Wings, Subway, Popeye’s, and more. The food court also pays homage to the B&O Railroad and Baltimore’s Roundhouse which includes a railroad track pattern in the tile floor and a three dimensional train with each train car, displaying a tenants name. The Christmas Wedding

The tree is decorated, the cookies are baked, and the packages are wrapped, but the biggest celebration this Christmas is Gay Summerhill’s wedding. Since her husband dies three years ago, Gab’s four children have drifted apart, each consumed by the turbulence of their own lives. As children, Quentin and Margo discovered a dead man’s body; an event that bonds them in ways they do not realize. As they grow up they grow apart. Margo is the most popular girl in school who has an incredible reputation for her wild hijinks. Margo sneaks into Quentin’s room and asks him to help her execute an eleven-part plan, which largely involves taking revenge on her ex-boyfriend. Then Margo disappears, but leaves a series of clues about her whereabouts. Quentin grapples with Margo’s use of “paper towns” in her clues.

You must register at least one day in advance.
