THE PRIVATE DINING ROOM LUNCH OR DINNER IN THE PRIVATE DINING ROOM Aria Restaurant’s intimate private dining room seats up to 54 guests (with 9 guests on 6 rounds) for lunch and dinner. The beautifully appointed room has floor to ceiling glass with spectacular views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Circular Quay. COCKTAIL RECEPTIONS IN THE PRIVATE DINING ROOM The elegant private dining room holds a maximum of 120 guests for an evening stand-up cocktail reception in conjunction with the second floor outdoor terrace. Coffee and tea at the end of your cocktail function is an extra $4.00 per person.

THE OUTDOOR TERRACE Aria’s spectacular open air terrace is located on the mezzanine level above the East Circular Quay concourse This magnificent space is perfect for an evening ceremony, pre-function drink or a cocktail function in conjunction with the private dining room. To hire the terrace a $300.00 charge is applicable. Should you ceremony commence outside of regular restaurant trading hours, an additional fee will be applicable. Please consult our events manager. WEDDING CEREMONIES Wedding ceremonies can be conducted on evenings at Aria Restaurant on our outdoor terrace which can comfortably hold up to 20 people seated, the remainder standing. The terrace can be uniquely designed and decorated for your individual needs, please consult with our events manager for options available. Please refer to the list of Aria recommended at the end of the pack. MUSIC Aria has a wide selection of music available for you to choose from for your wedding reception, from classical strings to contemporary jazz. There is a separate audio system available within the private room; you may instead wish to provide your own personal music for your special event. Please be advised that there is to be no amplified music used at Aria Restaurant (ie: no live bands or disc jockeys) due to noise level restrictions. FLOWERS We would be delighted to assist arranging wedding flowers for your event. The Private Dining Room and Small Semi Private Dining Room already provides a specially designed floral arrangement in the room on a weekly basis. Furthermore, Aria Restaurant has a list of florists including our weekly florist who can assist with your wedding from arranging spectacular centrepiece table arrangements to bridal bouquets and flowers for wedding cakes and further advice on decorating the outdoor terrace if required. Please refer to the list of Aria recommended at the end of the pack. EQUIPMENT HIRE Please advise our events manager if you require any hire equipment for your wedding. The room is equipped with a hand held cord-free microphone for your use inside the private dining room. The outdoor terrace has no AV equipment available. As previously mentioned we do have a fully equipped stereo sound system throughout the rest of our venue. PARKING The closest parking station is The Sydney Opera House Carpark, only a short stroll away from the restaurant. WEDDING CAKES Aria Restaurant would be delighted to assist in specially designing a wedding cake for you. We have a selection from which you may choose, or alternatively you may have a specific design in mind that our pastry chef can replicate. Costs for wedding cakes vary depending upon whether you wish to have your cake served on individual plates for each of your guests or as a petit fours style option served on platters for all to share during tea and coffee service. All wedding cakes created at Aria are charged on a per person basis. TERRACE HIRE The terrace is available only for evening events. A terrace hire of $300 is applicable when using the terrace and can only be used in conjunction with the private dining room for evening events only unless otherwise specified. If you require the terrace outside of the restaurant evening opening hours an additional $100 for every hour or part thereof is applicable if agreed to by the Aria event manager. Please note that ARIA does not invoice clients after event or accept personal cheques as balance payment for the event. We do not invoice guests post event. All prices are given as a guide only and vary according to the number of guests, date of the function and overall catering requirements.

CONFIRMING FINAL GUEST NUMBERS ARIA requires that final guest numbers be confirmed 48 hours prior to the function date. This number can be decreased or increased however the highest number confirmed within 48 hours prior to the event is the minimum amount that will be charged, any increase to this minimum number on the day must be paid for at the completion of the function. SERVICE CHARGE A 10% gratuity is calculated on the total food and beverage component. HIRING OF EQUIPMENT / EXTRA REQUIREMENTS The client is responsible for any external hiring of equipment and is to be paid for by the client. Prices quoted do not include any floral or table decorations, music or entertainment, photography or audio visual requirements. However we can gladly assist you in recommending professionals to contact. The private dining room is equipped with a cordless microphone, a CD stereo system and an AV projector screen. MUSIC/ENTERTAINMENT/NOISE LEVELS Regulations are in place with regards to noise levels, music and entertainment. We reserve the right to lower noise levels if it results in disturbing other restaurant patrons or residents. Please note that NO AMPLIFIED MUSIC (ie, live bands or disc jockeys) can be undertaken in the restaurant or on the terrace due to noise level restrictions. FINISHING TIMES Lunch functions must finish at 4.00pm unless a prior arrangement has been made. A charge of $250 per hour or part thereof will apply should your function extend past midnight. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES The client is expected to conduct their function in a legal and respectable manner and is responsible for the conduct of its guests and invitees. The client will be charged for any damage that occurs to the restaurant, the property or its staff. Please also note that in line with Australian legislation relating to responsible service of alcohol, ARIA Restaurant staff and management reserve the right to terminate a function, refuse service to any guest deemed intoxicated, or take responsible action to assist any intoxicated guest from the premises. CANCELLATION Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations received more than 60 days prior to the function date will receive a full refund. Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to the function date will receive 50% of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the function date will not be entitled to a refund of the deposit. RESTAURANT RIGHTS We reserve the right to remove from the premises any person behaving in an irresponsible manner. We assume no responsibility for the loss or damage to any property belonging to the client or their guests. The client is responsible for delivery and collection of any external props/equipment. No food or beverage is permitted into the premises unless prior permission has been obtained.
