Preliminary program: 4.April.2013 (Thursday): Arrival, transfer to Crown Plaza Hotel, Balcova 5.April.2013 (Friday): 10.00 – 15.00 : Guided Izmir city tour (lunch included) 15.30 : Transfer from the hotel to the Conference Center 17.00 – 19.30 : Panel about “MULTICULTURALISM & HUMAN LIFE” and Dance performance Evening: Welcome dinner 6.April.2013 (Saturday): After breakfast at the hotel, guided tour of Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary in Selcuk; tour guide will be a Soroptimist sister . Lunch with local wine in Sirince, old Greek village. Visit to Selcuk museum, and return to hotel. 19:30 – Cocktail party and Gala Dinner 7.April.2013 (Sunday): Departure. Ephesus is a major archaeological site for tourists visiting Turkey. It is about 85 kilometers away from İzmir. The city was famed for the Temple of Artemis (completed around 550 BC), one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
