16. Trevibban Mill Constantine, Chardonnay-Serval Blanc, £38.00 2014, Padstow. 11%. From this new local vineyard, Constantine is Cornwall’s answer to Chablis. With 20% of the blend aged in oak, this is an interesting and well integrated, fruit forward wine with some light vanilla and smoky notes on the finish.

31. Trevibban Mill Rock Rosé, Dornfelder-Rondo£28.00 Pinot Noir Precoce, 2014, Padstow. 11%. Garnacha pink in colour, Trevibban Mill’s Rock Rose has powerful aromas of fresh red fruit and pear drop. Strawberries and cherries dominate on the palette but don’t let the fruit sweetness fool you, this wine is absolutely dry with a very attractive, crisp finish.
