Our catering packages allow for a fully customisable and unique experience for weddings, corporate events and everything in between. Whether it is a traditional seated affair, a canapé occasion, or family-style shared platter dining, Your Private Chef will create the perfect menu to suit your special day. Polly Woodside is an amazing example of a late nineteenth century baroque rigged, iron hulled, and ocean-going trading ship. Built between 1863 and 1890 the property is in the French Renaissance style with an ornate interior. Wattle Park Chalet Location: Surry Hills Capacity: 200 Venue Hire POA Ceremony Facilities: Yes Built in 1928 by master craftsmen using materials salvaged from historic public buildings, the Wattle Park Chalet is listed on both the Heritage Victoria and National Trust Registers. The Chalet has operated continuously since it opened and is thought to be the only café, dance hall and wedding reception venue dating from the 1920s that remains operational in its original form. The surrounding parklands also have historical significance, including the Lone Pine tree near the Chalet, which is included on the National Trust Significant Tree Register. The Chalet offers a range of facilities suitable for celebrations, events and functions. Surrounded by 137 acres of parkland managed by Parks Victoria, the free-standing Tudor-style Chalet comprises approximately 220 square metres of function space comprising of the Grand Hall and adjacent loggia (enclosed terrace).
