Active in 78 countries worldwide, SYSTRA is involved in project planning well before the start of the design stage and continues through to deployment. SYSTRA has been appointed as Preliminary Design Consultant on the Jeddah Public Transport program . The contract includes 3 Metrolines (152 km, 53 stations), Tram (48 km -46 stations), Commuter rail (93 km7 stations)l, Bus network (840 km), Marine network (94 km), Obhur Creek bridge (8 traffic lines, 1 rail line), Al Muntalaq station, Park & Ride. The Group’s real estate engineering subsidiary Inexia Afacor becomes SYSTRA Foncier. The name change highlights the extension of its service offer.

august 2014 SYSTRA delivers the Besançon Tramway/LRT on time and on budget.

SYSTRA wins the €170 M project management and work’s supervision contract for phase 1 of the Doha metro in Qatar.

SYSTRA wins the Bus Rapid Transit contract connecting Astana airport to the HSR station, in Kazakhstan.

SYSTRA inaugurates services on the longest tram-train line linking Nantes to Châteaubriant (64 km) France. SYSTRA, which has worked on transport projects for the Bordeaux authorities for over 17 years, inaugurates the Line C tramway / LRT extension, a 600 m section linking « Les Aubiers » station to « Berges du Lac ».

SYSTRA wins the €9 million project management contract for the Paris metro Line 11 extension.

november 2013

SYSTRA inaugurates the Paris T7 tramway / LRT between the multimodal hub at Villejuif -Louis Aragon and Athis-Mons Porte de l’Essonne. This project highlights the Group’s know-how and expertise in tramway / LRT project management in the Greater Paris region. SYSTRA wins the € 37 million project management assistance contract for the westward extension of the EOLE.

october 2013

The SARA Consortium (SYSTRA as lead consultant, ARTELIA and RICHEZ-ATTICA) is awarded the €20 million contract by the Hauts-de-Seine Regional Council to provide assistance to the owner on construction of the « Antony-Clamart » tramway / LRT. SYSTRA provides assistance to the owner over the creation of a BRT (bus rapid transit) network in Metz. This €230 million, 42-month project is the largest BRT project ever undertaken by the Group.

september 2013

SYSTRA starts construction work on the Ouargla tramway / LRT in the Sahara Desert. SYSTRA wins 2 contracts on Lines 15, 16 and 17 of the Grand Paris Express : • An infrastructure project management contract for the southern section of Line 15 between Noisy-Champs and Villejuif Louis Aragon. • A project management contract for automated systems and rolling stock for Lines 15, 16 and 17 and assistance to the owner on systems.

SYSTRA inaugurates two major projects in the same week : the first tramway / LRT in Tours and the T4 extension in Lyon (which is now the longest tramway / LRT line in the Lyon region).
