How to Use the MTW Donations Web Site Why create an account? To save time Most of the work in creating an online account happens when you provide your credit card or banking information— you’ll have the extra advantage of being able to log in another time and with one click activate your billing address (we always ask for the Card Security Code for security reasons). Advantages of your MTW online donations account You will be able to manage: • Your giving schedule, intent-to-give, and your recurring gift designations • Credit card or bank account information • Your contact information and payment options. Making a $200 or more donation? Consider EFT over credit card. When you give via EFT, you save MTW the extra processing costs associated with online payments. Just use “Add Payment Account” to setup electronic funds transfer.

Forgot Password or User Name? Note, your username is not your email address and both the username and password are case sensitive. Click the “forgot” buttons to request to have your username or password sent to your email address. If you have difficulty contact [email protected] or 1-866-373-6133.

To create a new account: Click on the “Register as a New Donor” link. Then, fill out your personal information and provide the email address you wish to use for your transactions.

When you “Agree to Terms” be sure to input you last name as you did in the new account form: 

               

 

Now you can login with the Username and Password you provided in the new account form. “Login” and “Logout”

Login if you have already created an online donor account. This will allow you to manage the personal and credit card information you wish to use throughout your giving activity with MTW.

Logout if you want to return to the main login page in order setup another account under a different name.

The donation process: Payment Method – The first time you make a donation (whether you choose to create an account or not), you will input your billing and credit card or banking information. If you previously donated online and created a login account this would be automatically populated with all the information you need to complete the transaction.

Additional payment account At any time, you will be able to add an additional card or banking information to your MTW online account.

Donation designation - you can either type a name or support account number in the search box. A dropdown menu will appear. You can then make your selection and input the amount you wish to donate. “Anonymous” giving Check the box to donate to a project or missionary without having your name being divulged as the donor.

Giving Options – you can choose to make this a one-time gift or set it up for a recurring donation over time—Use the selection box next to “Frequency”. The “Note” is for you to add a comment about your donation (eg. Happy Birthday, Praying for You) that will be forwarded to the missionary or manager of a project.

Manage Donations – When you login, your “Scheduled Payments”, “Intent to Give” and “Transaction History” will be immediately viewable, as well as your account profile settings.

Scheduled Payments These are recurring or future donations that you have setup. There is additional information on recurring donations on the next page.

Intent to Give This is similar to a faith promise and does not create a donation transaction.

Transaction History This is your online activity at this website.

Making a one-time donation You can make as many one-time designations as you wish in one transaction.

Making a recurring donation A recurring donation is a great way of supporting a favorite project over time. Instead of making a one-time donation, you provide credit card or banking information and we automatically initiate the transaction you specified each month. When you choose a "recurring donation" indicate the amount you wish to give. If you don’t have an online account with MTW, you will be asked to create one. This will allow you to keep track of all your donations and make changes to your recurring donation(s) if necessary. If you wish to support an additional project on a monthly recurring basis, you'll need to start a new transaction process. It’s easy since you will already have an online account with MTW – your address information is stored and all you have to do is use the same credit card or banking information, if you wish or create a new payment method.

MTW Web Site Privacy Policy How We Use Information You Provide Mission to the World (MTW) is the sole owner of the information collected on this Site. MTW is committed to protect the identity of its partners. We do not share or rent our list of contributors or other parties with any other organization, including other committees and agencies of the PCA. MTW uses your personal information to: (1) process your requests and transactions, (2) provide additional offerings and services, (3) personalize the types of information you receive from MTW, and (4) assess general user trends in the use of our site for the purposes of improving the user experience. In addition, our missionaries receive a list of donors making contributions to their support account. (Note that if you choose to give anonymously your name will not be shared with the missionary). Security In some cases our site uses securely encrypted contribution response forms for visitors who choose to use these forms to provide information, request information, and/or make donations. We collect your willingly submitted contact information (e.g., your email address), unique identifiers (e.g., an MTW donor account number), and financial information (e.g., credit card type, number, and expiration date). Contact information from these response forms is used to process donations, provide receipts, and provide other information about MTW to our donor-customer. This information is also used to contact with you when necessary in order to resolve customer service issues or questions. Updating Personal Information If your person information changes (e.g., your address or email), or if you no longer desire our service, we provide ways to correct and update your information provided on the web site. This is done at the “My Account” page under General Information. How Secure Is Information About Me?       We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.    We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming a donation or when you view payment methods you setup. The full credit card number is transmitted through software encryption to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.    Our online transactions are transmitted to your credit card company using VeriSign secure technology Stewardship Technologies, an MTW partner who provides us with the donation management system. Neither MTW nor Stewardship Technologies have access to your complete credit card number.    It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to log out when finished using a shared computer.
