WHAT IS CASUAL DAY? Casual Day is a day when employers allow their employees to purchase and wear a T-shirt from United Cerebral Palsy, demonstrating their support of people with disabilities. Casual Day is simple to conduct and very popular with employees. Many companies report that Casual Day helps to increase employee morale and employee/employer relations. Casual Day is UCP of Greater Birmingham’s largest annual fundraiser. In 2013, Casual Day involved more than 2,000 employees from over 150 companies! This made Birmingham’s Casual Day #1 out of more than 60 UCP affiliates nationwide. In 23 years, area businesses have raised more than $2 million for people with disabilities through Casual Day. The Casual Day shirts for this year were designed by Kathleen Camp Graphic Design, LLC. WHEN IS CASUAL DAY? Casual Day is Friday, April 25, 2014 in the Greater Birmingham area.
