ABOUT US Scandinavian Tank Storage is an independent storage company for petroleum-based products. We began operations in 1993 and in the past four years we have seen a capacity increase of 40 percent. In the beginning we built our operations solely around contango storage, but have gradually strengthened our market position and adapted our terminals to strategic storage, distribution and arbitrage business, an area in which we have become market leaders. Our business philosophy emanates from a close business relationship with our customers and suppliers. Our large contact network and insight into the workings of the sector enables us to offer added value through developing our customers’ business opportunities. This means that we see ourselves primarily as a proactive business partner and secondly as a supplier.

OUR OFFERING Our flexible organisation with short lead times enables us to offer 24-hour innovative solutions to your storage needs. We are the largest independent storage company in Sweden, offering storage in both caverns and tanks. All storage facilities are in strategic and carefully selected locations. The flexibility of our storage facilities enable us to store a range of products and qualities. Through acquisitions and long-term disposition agreements we can always offer large storage capacity at very competitive prices. Through our subsidiary Atlantic Tank Storage we can offer storage of clean products on Iceland. In Gothenburg we offer a crude facility of 600,000 m3.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL VIEW Environmental awareness permeates our entire organisation. We collaborate with authorities and partners and put environmental issues top of the agenda. The conditions governing our operations are determined by a permit granting system and current legislation, which we regard as the minimum requirement. Also, we adapt our working methods continuously in accordance with the latest findings within the environmental field. Corporate responsibility and a holistic approach are directly related to the trust of the business world. This is also in line with our own values.

OUR PORTS

GOTHENBURG LAT N 57° 42’ / LONG E 11° 56 Located in Gothenburg on the Swedish west coast. The cavern is strategically located with easy access from both the Baltic Sea and the North Sea. As the port is located north of the Danish strait, vessels coming from the North Sea are not affected by the Baltic Max depth of 15.5 metres.

Strategic location near the Great Belt and an optimal hub for traffic to and from the Baltic States and Rotterdam, for example. A depth of 12.5 metres makes the port a good base for transports to the American ports.

A good depth of 12.5 metres and close proximity to the Baltic States, Poland and Germany makes Karlshamn attractive from several perspectives. The main storage products are Gas Oil, Fuel Oil and VGO.

NORRKÖPING LAT N 58° 36’ / LONG E 16° 12’ In Norrköping our storage capacity consists solely of tanks. A definite advantage if you are mixing different products. The excellent land transport possibilities makes the port a good option to the Stockholm region. Another advantage is the close distance to the Baltic States and Finland.

ARENDAL LAT O58°26,00 N / LONG 008°46,8 E We now have the opportunity of offering gas oil storage in Arendal, Norway, which is strategically located near a choice of Scandinavian refineries. One of the advantages of the Arendal plant is that it has its own port and can thus give our customers immediate access with no waiting times.
