Club Chronicle SUMMER 2014

Dear Vail Mountain Club Members,

Thank you for another wonderful winter. It is hard to believe that this was our sixth winter of operation. Time flies.

Thank you to everyone who supported our Pink Vail team raising much needed funds for a wonderful cause.

Mother Nature smiled on us once again with plenty of snow all season long which made our First Tracks, weekly ski groups, Ski with Instructor sessions, and snowshoe hikes so much fun. We also enjoyed ski trips to Arapahoe Basin and Beaver Creek as well as fluffy powder turns on our fourth annual cat skiing trip to Steamboat.

We are thrilled for our upcoming summer Independence Holiday celebration on July 5th, as well as biking excursions, hiking adventures and cooking demos at The 10th. Family friendly events include a day out in Leadville, kids’ night out with Ashley and our inaugural kids’ camps in July and August. Welcome to all our new members from the past year. We are excited to have you experience your first summer with the Club.

This Club Chronicle outlines this season’s featured events. For up-to-date information about all Club activities, please visit our online calendar at www.vailmountainclub.com. We look forward to welcoming you at the Club this summer. Sincerely, Jane Ivy Club Director
