Join Darion as he shares this experience, as well as exciting and engaging stories with the crowd. Preschool Adventure Zone: Science and Math. (ages 3 – 6) Mt. Pleasant at 3:30 p.m. Join the library for the science of butterflies. You’ll learn about the life-cycle of the butterfly, discover how butterflies are born, and see what butterfly wings look like up close.

Join us in 2012 for a yearlong celebration commemorating the 85th anniversary of Charleston’s first free public library for African-Americans. Dart Book and Lecture Series Third Thursday, every other month at 6:30 p.m. (Started in January.) John L.
