Cultural and historical event about the island of Rurutu in the Austral islands archipelago featuring a long trek with stops on ancestral sites (of archeological interest located in cliffs, etc.) in the 3 villages (Moerai, Avera et Auti), and a visit to various private homes where guests are given a traditional island people welcome consisting in throwing talc onto them. Monthly festive meeting in the capital city of Papeete in Tahiti based on a special theme and offered to both the population and visitors, all of whom dressed in typical local clothing and providing various shows and activities. Tahiti circle island tour in the typical so-called "Truck" means of transportation to the sound of the 'ukulele with stops in tourist scenic sites. This tour has been designed by GIE Tahiti Tourisme

brings together up to fifty famous graffiti artists from the world over and thousands of youths, families, connoisseurs and art lovers. The guest artists go down the streets of the capital city to create magnificent wall frescos on dedicated spaces in downtown Papeete. ONO’U is also the most important graffiti art contest in the world; it aims at rewarding and helping fresh talented artists emerge on the world street art stage. The Pareo Day has been celebrated everywhere in the world since it was launched in 2013 by a little group of Polynesian enthusiasts with the support of social networks. The time slot selected for staging will be the last Friday in May, at the same time as the Mahana Pae that remains the monthly festive meeting in the capital city of Papeete in Tahiti based on a special theme and offered to both the population and visitors, all of whom dressed in typical local clothing and providing various shows and activities. At the velodrome of Fautau'a in Pirae – Tahiti The Tahiti Velo Club will stage their 4th edition with 3 sportcycling and one ecocycling circuits of 15 km, 55 km and 110 km for the best racers. Several days prior to the race, it is possible to take part in various excursions: catamaran Tetia'aroa-bound sailing, Mo'orea circle-island circle tour, 4 WD safaris to discover the interior of Tahiti and its lush vegetation.

This event aims at welcoming and creating a meeting place for visitors, yachtsmen and the local population. In parallel, and in daytime, the lower esplanade will host the world of traditional arts and crafts which will, as usual, show their know-how and dexterity through ever bolder and more graceful creations. In several categories, speed races are staged for V1 canoes (single paddler), V3, V6 and V16 in the Papeete harbour followed by a marathon race between Tahiti and Moorea. Then come the famous traditional races for canoes fitted with sail and outrigger, not forgetting the traditional sports or Tuaro Maohi for sports disciplines such as coconut climbing, large stone raising, coconut husking… All the athletes must be dressed in a pareo and wear flower crowns (lei) The commemoration of "Bastille's Day" is marked, like in any French Territory, by a military parade all the official authorities are invited to attend. The French Polynesia islands also celebrate this republican rendez-vous. At the end of the various official ceremonies a show with traditional singing and dancing and snacks and refreshment beverages are offered in the gardens of the French Republic High Commissioner in Tahiti, as well as at the Administrators Residences in the islands. The Olivier Bréaud golf course located on the huge 'Atimaono domain at Papara, about 50 kilometers from Papeete (Tahiti), every year hosts the international golf tournament, one of the stages of the well-known Pacific circuit organized by the Australian PGA and supported by the Polynesian Golf Federation. Celebration in the world and the 5 archipelagos of Polynesia of this day on the theme defined by the UNWTO (World Tourism Organization): « One billion tourists and 1 billion opportunities ». Meetings of tourism professionals, of the population and of visitors on touristtic sites enlivened with dances, traditional songs, traditional music… Monthly festive meeting in the capital city of Papeete in Tahiti based on a special theme and offered to both the population and visitors, all of whom dressed in typical local clothing and providing various shows and activities. In the Leeward Islands Va'a or outrigger-canoe practice is the preeminent traditional Polynesian sport. Over 100 canoes will link the islands of Huahine, Ra'iatea, Taha'a and Bora Bora. Vanilla Week in September : Several days dedicated to the Tahitian vanilla with the presence of a number of Polynesian producers. Workshops exhibit the various facettes of Vanilla with the presence of experts coming from the islands to express their pride about this black gold so useful in a great many applications (cuisine, cosmetics, arts and crafts…)

Agricultural Fair in October: Over about two weeks, the primary sector is highlighted in the population, adults and children alike, with the schools, to discover the animals living on the islands and the true products of the terroir. Many exhibitors from all the archipelagos take part in the various contests staged by the organizing committee. The selected venue is still the Vaitupa site or Motu Ovini in the district of Faa'a, because of the wide space it provides .
