We are here to support students with personal-social needs, educational needs, and goals for the future!
Safety and Security • • •
Students will be transported by bus to the front doors. Use door 6 for parent drop-off @ 9AM & pick-up @ 3:40. Use front door for parent mid-day pick-up & drop-off. We are a non-walking school.

By 9:10 each day, all doors will be locked to the school with the exception of the front doors.

Please walk your child to the office and check them in if you arrive after the typical start time.

If your child is absent, please call the attendance line. When visiting, enter through the office, sign in, and put on a visitor tag. Photo ID is required. Remember to make arrangements ahead of time with the teacher if you wish to visit class.
A Typical Kindergarten Day Student arrive and unpack They work toward independence in hanging up coats / book bags, turning in items, and beginning an activity. Kindergarten classes have an initial class meeting. Then, the day is split between literacy and mathematics. Social Studies and Science are woven authentically into the day. We can’t forget recess!
August 2014 Phase-in days •Wednesday, August 20th •Thursday, August 21st 1/3 of all students each day •Friday, August 22nd •ALL students attend school on Monday, August 25th
Early Literacy Initiative (Extended ELI)
Students qualify based on Kindergarten Readiness Assessment Focused instruction on: Phonemic awareness Letter/word recognition Vocabulary development Reading & Writing activities
Please sign-up for summer assessment time prior to leaving.
The Third Grade Guarantee Students monitored closely to check reading progress.
Parents notified if student is “on track” and “not on track” in October.

Bus Information A.M. Kindergarteners are bussed to school with all day K-5 students in the morning. They are dropped off at their assigned location at the end of the morning by a kindergarten only bus. 9:10-11:50 Morning session of Kindergarten P.M. Kindergarteners are picked up at their assigned location by a kindergarten only bus. They return on the same busses as all day K-5 students. P.M. kindergarten students will wear an identification tag every day to and from school as a safety measure. 1:00- 3:40 Afternoon session of Kindergarten Ex ELI Students’ Transportation is arranged through the Dublin Schools Transportation Department. 614-764-5926 Bus schedules and class assignments will be posted to the Parent Dashboard in August.
