wedding GUARANTEE The Chattanoogan Hotel requires that all menus be submitted to our Catering Managers at least three (3) weeks prior to your function. A final guarantee is required five (5) working days prior to the event. If the guarantee is not received by that time, the agreed number listed on the CEO will serve as your guarantee or the actual number served, whichever is greater, will be the number for which you will be charged. Should the number in your party change considerably, we reserve the right to move your group to a more appropriately sized room or location. The Chattanoogan Hotel will set the room up to five percent (5%) over the guarantee, however if a larger set is needed, additional charges may apply. If your guarantee increases within forty-eight (48) hours of the event, we will do our best to accommodate, however we cannot guarantee that we will be able to offer the same menu choice for the additional guarantee.

DINING Buffets and hors’doeuvres are priced for two (2) hour durations only, unless otherwise specified. At the conclusion of the two (2) hour duration, with replenishment for one and a half (1½) hours, all food and beverages, with the exception of wedding cake, become the property of The Chattanoogan Hotel and can not be taken from the banquet function. Functions served with less than the required minimum will be charged a per guest surcharge up to the minimum required. Plated options are suggested for groups smaller than fifty (50). For example, a group with thirty (30) guests requesting a menu with a minimum of fifty (50) guests will be charged for fifty (50) guests. Please include any special meals, vegetarians or dietary restrictions with your guarantee. Any additional meals that need to be prepared at time of event to accommodate these needs will be charged at the menu price. If you require salads and desserts to be preset for more than the guarantee, there will be a charge of $5.00 per salad and $5.00 per dessert for oversets.

PRICING A maximum of two (2) entrées per plated event will be allowed, with the exception of any special dietary requirements. If two (2) entrées are chosen for your event, the higher priced entrée will be charged. We require counts on each entrée and any special dietary requirements five (5) working days in advance. Prices quoted may be subject to change, given market fluctuations. Patron grants the right to The Chattanoogan Hotel to raise prices accordingly or

policies

to make reasonable substitutions on the menu and agrees to pay such increased prices and to accept substitutions.

SERVICE FEES AND TAXES All food and beverage prices are subject to a 20% taxable service charge and 9.25% Tennessee State sales tax. Catering menu prices are subject to change without notice. All contract prices will be honored.

COMPLIMENTARY MENU TASTING A complimentary group menu tasting for a maximum of four (4) people will be provided. There will be a charge of $40 per person, plus tax and service charge for each additional person. Group tastings will be scheduled one month in advance.

BEVERAGE The Chattanoogan Hotel as a licensee is the only authority licensed to sell and/or serve liquor for consumption on the premises. Therefore, no alcohol can be brought onto the licensed property. The Chattanoogan Hotel reserves the right to discontinue any and all service in the event of blatant or willful disregard for the law on the part of the event sponsor or guests in attendance.
