OUTSIDE FULL-SERVICE CATERING: In order to book a date on our calendar, we require a deposit in the amount of $500.00. For full-service catering, whether it be in your home, office or favorite gathering place, we are happy to create a menu that best fits your needs. Each item included in this package is priced per person (unless otherwise noted) and portioned accordingly, making it easy for you to determine the cost of your event. BEVERAGE SERVICE: Beverages are priced by the bottle for beer, wine, champagne and soft drinks. You are charged for beverages by consumption if you purchase through Comforts. Our liquor license is limited to purchasing beer, wine, champagne, ports and aperitifs. Should you choose to provide your own wine or spirits, there is a bar setup fee of $2.00 per person. SERVICE CHARGE AND TAX: There will be a 20% administrative service charge added to all food and beverage costs. The State of California mandates that we tax all charges, including the service charge, at a current rate of 7%. Due to the extensive labor involved in outside catering activities, there is a charge of $25.00 per hour per server and $35.00 per hour for the Kitchen Chef. If your event requires an On-Site manager, the charge per hour is $40.00. Overtime (over 8 hrs) is charged at time and a half. For events outside of Marin County or in West Marin we do charge for travel time. HOURS OF AVAILABILITY: We like to keep each event to a maximum of five festive hours (exclusive of set-up and clean-up). Should you require additional hours, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate. ADDITIONAL SERVICES: Comforts will be happy to assist you with every detail, including entertainment, photography, videographer, flowers, decorations, centerpieces and props required to create any theme event.

COMFORTS CATERING TERMS AND CONDITIONS Thank you for choosing Comforts for your upcoming event. In order for us to best serve you, we ask that you familiarize yourself with the following policies and procedures. All reservations and agreements are made upon, and are subject to, the following terms and conditions.

1. All reservations are considered tentative until we receive a $500.00 deposit required to hold the date. Once the menu is selected, we will send you an agreement for your approval, with an estimated cost. We will require fifty percent (50%) of the estimated cost one month prior to any event in order to execute the agreement. The remaining amount will be due in full following the function the day of the event. You will be billed for any charges beyond the quote, as agreed upon, for extra, last minute additions or service hours. 2. Each event is typically no longer than five (5) hours for the actual event (exclusive of set-up and clean-up). If total service time (with set-up and clean-up) exceeds 8 hours, overtime will be charged to the client. 3. Food prices quoted at the time the agreement is signed and deposit received are guaranteed. Due to a fluctuating market, beverage prices and availability are subject to change. The prices of these will be confirmed prior to your event. We are happy to accommodate the same quoted rate per person for guests who, for religious or dietary reasons, cannot partake in the arranged menu. No food or beverage of any kind may be brought into the premises unless otherwise arranged by or through Comforts. 4. The number of guests attending any event must be guaranteed one (1) week prior to the event. If a guaranteed number is not received by the designated date, the estimated number given by the arranger will serve as a minimum guarantee and will be charged accordingly. A twenty percent (20%) administrative service charge will be added to all food and beverage costs. The State of California mandates that a current tax of 7.25 % be added to all charges, including the service charge. Catering staff is available for a charge of $25.00 per hour per server. The Kitchen Manager is $35.00 per hour. The cost of your On-Site Manager is $40.00 per hour. There is a four (4) hour minimum for all serving staff. An opened signed credit card slip is required as a guarantee against additional charges the day of the function. 5. Cancellation, should it be necessary, must take place in writing at least 72 hours prior to the event. The initial $500.00 deposit is non-refundable. The percentage of refund, if any, will depend upon the time of year and our ability to rebook. If cancellation is received 72 hours or more prior to the event and we are unable to rebook, your deposit(s), less an administrative fee of not less than ten percent (10%) of the estimated total price of the event, will be refunded without interest thereon, and neither party shall have any further obligation or liability there under. 6. Comforts will not be responsible for the damage or loss of any article(s) on the premises prior to, during, or following any event. Performance of the Agreement is contingent upon the availability of Comforts to complete the same and is subject to labor troubles, disputes, strikes and accidents.
