3. Test description In order to keep environmental influences to a minimum, all TESTfactory laboratories are air conditioned (temperature: 22±3°C / humidity: 15% -7 0%), floor coverings anti-static and conductive and rooms where optical properties are tested, with full black-out facilities. The smartphone is set so that the display brightness is on maximum. The automatic function is switched off. For checking purposes, a white LED is used to illuminate the smartphone's light sensor. This ensures that the display is set to max. brightness if the automatic function cannot be switched off. The centre of the display is measured with a 100% white screen illuminated over the whole area. The measurement is taken approx. 1 minute after activating the screen.
