Entering freshmen criteria: GPA of 2.75 or above and ACT score of 21-23 (24 or above if not receiving a UCA academic scholarship). Transfer student criteria: satisfactory completion of 30 hours or more from another institution and GPA of 3.0 or above. Non-traditional student (age 25 or above) criteria: satisfactory completion of 12 hours or more and GPA of 3.0 or above. ELIZABETH BAILEY BENTON SCHOLARSHIP For full-time students majoring in mathematics or natural sciences with a GPA of 3.0 or above. First preference given to active members (two year minimum) of Conway First Presbyterian Church. RICHARD ARNOLD SCHOLARSHIP For full-time students who graduated from a high school in the city of Conway, Arkansas (or, if home schooled, resided in the service area of Conway Corporation at the time of graduation) and have an ACT of 21 or above and high school GPA of 2.75 or above. Consideration may be given to financial need. Children of Conway Corporation Board of Directors are ineligible for consideration. WILL COUNTS JOURNALISM SCHOLARSHIP For full-time students majoring in journalism who have completed 60 credit hours or more with a GPA of 2.5 or above. Consideration shall be given to financial need. CROW/WHITE EDUCATION FUND For full-time students with a high school GPA of 2.0 or above or a college GPA of 2.5 or above; financial need may be considered. First preference shall be given to descendants of the John D. and Flora Boyd Crow family or the William C. and Mary Seay White family. Second preference shall be given to students born in Phillips or Faulkner County (Arkansas). JAMES R. AND ELIZABETH STOUT DAILEY SCHOLARSHIP For full-time students who demonstrate financial need with a GPA of 2.5 or above. First preference given to students who plan to major in education and teach.

Recipient shall be a student who has completed the requirements from an Arkansas high school or if home schooled is a resident of Arkansas. The recipient shall be an active member of their church with preference given to a student involved in the church’s music program. Selection shall be based on financial need and cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. BILL AND BENEVA FARRIS SCHOLARSHIP For full-time Faulkner County students with a GPA of 2.75 or above who manifest academic seriousness and discipline; demonstrate sound moral character and personal maturity. First preference given to music majors. Consideration shall be given to financial need. MADELINE ANN GRUBBS SCHOLARSHIP For physical therapy students in good academic standing who are entering the third year doctoral program. Selection based on financial need and demonstrated service, leadership, and cooperation. H. B. HARDY, JR. SCHOLARSHIP For full-time students who have completed 60 credit hours or more with a GPA of 2.5 or above. First preference given to Sigma Tau Gamma members in good standing. Selection based on high school GPA of 2.5 or above and financial need. ROSAMOND HUGHES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP For full-time students who plan to major in education and teach. Selection shall be based on financial need and GPA of 2.5 or above. GINI INGRAM SCHOLARSHIP For full-time students enrolled in both choir and band ensembles, with first preference given to non-music majors (students majoring or minoring in music are also encouraged to apply). Consideration may be given to financial need. CARROLL D. JONES SCHOLARSHIP For full-time students with a GPA of 2.5 or above. Selection based on financial need and academic performance. MACKEY SCHOLARSHIP For full-time African American students who have been accepted into the athletic or communication program at UCA. Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above and an ACT score of 18 or above. A letter of recommendation from your EAST facilitator is required. ROBERT M. MCLAUCHLIN GRADUATE EDUCATION MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP For students who are U. S. citizens and enrolled in a graduate program at UCA. Preference shall be given to Arkansas residents. Selection based on academic performance, school and community involvement, and financial need. In the essay, explain why you need scholarship assistance, why you chose your field of study, and what profession you plan to pursue after graduation. HANK ADAMS SCHOLARSHIP For full-time undergraduate students who are U. S. citizens and in good academic standing. Must have completed 12 credit hours or more at UCA and be a legal Arkansas resident or the child/grandchild of a former UCA student or UCA graduate. Selection based on financial need, academic performance and submitted essay. AFRICAN AMERICAN SCHOLARSHIP For full-time entering freshmen with ACT score of 21 or above and a high school GPA of 3.25 or above. First preference given to an African American resident and recent high school graduate of Ashley, Drew, Union, Desha, Phillips, Chicot, St. Francis or Jefferson County. Selection based on financial need, academic performance and essay explaining what impact the recipient will have on the African American culture at UCA. PAG E | 9

ALUMNI GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP AND ENDOWMENT For full-time undergraduate students with 60 credit hours or more completed at UCA and cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above. Selection based on financial need and essay explaining why you chose your field of study and what leadership and/or academic services you have demonstrated at UCA. A recommendation letter from a UCA staff or faculty member must be submitted attesting to your leadership and/or academic services to UCA. MARVIN BISHOP MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP For full-time sophomore, junior or senior students who are Arkansas residents with first preference given to Cherokee descendants. Requires a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above and completion of 60 credit hours or more at UCA. Selection based on academic performance, financial need and submitted essay. HARVEY A. BUFFALO SCHOLARSHIP For full-time undergraduate students with at least 12 credit hours completed at UCA and cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Selection based on financial need, academic performance, and submitted essay. DAVID AND LAURA GRIMES SCHOLARSHIP FUND For full-time students with first preference given to descendants of David and Laura Grimes and their siblings. Second preference is given to graduates of Conway Public Schools or Springdale Public Schools. Requires a GPA of 2.5 or above. Selection based on academic performance, financial need, and submitted essay. B. A. LEWIS GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS For full-time students who have sufficient credit toward a bachelor’s degree at UCA and have been accepted into the UCA graduate school or students who have completed 6 graduate hours or more at UCA with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above. Selection based on academic performance and submitted essay. DOROTHY LONG SCHOLARSHIP For full-time students who are majoring in mathematics or within the College of Natural Sciences & Mathematics. Requires cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above and completion of 60 or more credit hours at UCA. Selection based on academic performance, financial need and submitted essay. H. L. MINTON SCHOLARSHIP For full-time undergraduate students who are U. S. citizens and have completed 60 or more credit hours at UCA. SULLARDS FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP FUND For full-time undergraduate or graduate students who have completed 60 credit hours or more; 30 of those hours must have been completed in the UCA College of Education and who plan to teach. Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above and be a child/grandchild of a parent or grandparent of a UCA graduate. Selection based on financial need and submitted essay. UCA LICENSE PLATE PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIP For full-time undergraduate students who are the child/grandchild of a UCA graduate and have completed 60 credit hours or more at UCA with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above. Selection based on academic performance and essay explaining why you chose your field of study and what leadership and/or academic services you have demonstrated at UCA.
