Consideration may be given to financial need. Children of Conway Corporation Board of Directors are ineligible for consideration. WILL COUNTS JOURNALISM SCHOLARSHIP For full-time students majoring in journalism who have completed 60 credit hours or more with a GPA of 2.5 or above. Consideration shall be given to financial need. CROW/WHITE EDUCATION FUND For full-time students with a high school GPA of 2.0 or above or a college GPA of 2.5 or above; financial need may be considered. First preference shall be given to descendants of the John D. and Flora Boyd Crow family or the William C. and Mary Seay White family. Second preference shall be given to students born in Phillips or Faulkner County (Arkansas). JAMES R. Must have completed 12 credit hours or more at UCA and be a legal Arkansas resident or the child/grandchild of a former UCA student or UCA graduate. AFRICAN AMERICAN SCHOLARSHIP For full-time entering freshmen with ACT score of 21 or above and a high school GPA of 3.25 or above. First preference given to an African American resident and recent high school graduate of Ashley, Drew, Union, Desha, Phillips, Chicot, St. Francis or Jefferson County. MARVIN BISHOP MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP For full-time sophomore, junior or senior students who are Arkansas residents with first preference given to Cherokee descendants. Requires a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above and completion of 60 credit hours or more at UCA. Selection based on academic performance, financial need and submitted essay. HARVEY A. BUFFALO SCHOLARSHIP For full-time undergraduate students with at least 12 credit hours completed at UCA and cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. DAVID AND LAURA GRIMES SCHOLARSHIP FUND For full-time students with first preference given to descendants of David and Laura Grimes and their siblings. Second preference is given to graduates of Conway Public Schools or Springdale Public Schools. Requires a GPA of 2.5 or above.
