SCHOLARSHIPS 2013 - 2014 The Radford University Foundation, Inc. is the separate but vital fundraising arm of Radford University. It is dedicated to the fulfillment of the institutional mission and advancement of its faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Scholarships are a top priority for the Foundation and the University as a whole. Making education accessible is a part of Radford's great history. In 1988, the scholarship program offered 26 scholarships. Currently over 500 scholarships and awards are granted annually, helping students to pursue their dreams. All scholarships are privately funded by donors who voluntarily give of their time and financial support to benefit you, our students. As you complete your applications, be mindful of the donors who have made these scholarships possible. They have made a lasting legacy at Radford University.

GENERAL GUIDANCE: APPLYING FOR RADFORD UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS * Apply for no more than FIVE awards. Up to THREE awards may be awarded per student. * When applying for a scholarship, you must ensure that you meet (and will continue to meet) ALL of the REQUIRED conditions, no exceptions. Applying for a scholarship when the conditions are not met may result in the revocation of any awarded scholarships. However, if a particular condition mentions "preferred" or "priority", those conditions are not requirements. * FAFSA means Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The FAFSA must be on file at the Financial Aid Office if financial aid is a requirement or consideration for the scholarship. * GPA means Grade Point Average. * Applications are to be entered on-line in Banner. Any required attachments (such as references or essays) must be emailed to Financial Aid at [email protected] or mailed to Campus PO Box 6905.
