15 czerwca - 2014r. Stewardship note: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only . . . “ (John 3:16) Is your love conditional? Is there a price others have to pay to receive your love? Are you generous with your time, money and possessions? If you give someone something, do you expect something in return? Do you give your time freely or do you “fit it in” when it’s convenient for you? THE MOST HOLY TRINITY SUNDAY June 15, 2014 God so loved the world that he gave his only Son. - John 3:16a SANCTUARY VOTIVE CANDLES For the week of June 15 through June 21 Sacred Heart Altar - Candle I In loving memory of Chester & Ronald Hanc Given by Dorothy Hanc LIFE IN THE TRINITY The name of the Trinity is, without a doubt, the most familiar sacred name to us. We speak it every time we make the sign of the cross, and it forms the heart of our Creed. Trinity Sunday is a good day, however, to stop and reflect on the unique role of each of the three persons we name so often in the Trinity and in our own lives. When we celebrate the Eucharist on Sunday, we come together as the Body of Christ through our baptism and through the power of the Holy Spirit we offer the whole prayer of the Mass to God the Father. This presence of the Trinity does not stop when we leave church on Sunday. We are—always and everywhere—members of the Body and every thing we do as members of that Body is empowered by the Holy Spirit, all of it offered to the glory of our loving Father. Take a moment each day this week to reflect on how the persons of the Trinity were present to you during the day and how other people came to see the presence of the Trinity in your witness to the Good News. Second collection this week is for Catholic Communications Campaign. The second collection next week will be designated for the Mission Appeal by Rev. Fr. Jones Kukatla for Kurnool Diocese, India. ITS FESTIVAL TIME! Join us at the Polish American Citizens Club this weekend and enjoy the specialties of the kitchen-always a mouthwatering menu! Seafood menu on Friday, and Polish-American food, live music all weekend, performances by St. Joseph School children and the Piast Folk Group and much, much more. Bring your family and friends for a weekend of light-hearted pleasure and enjoyment.

Page 3 FATHER’S DAY This Sunday we celebrate Father’s Day, when we honor our fathers with prayers, visits, a token of appreciation or a silent prayer at the cemetery. These are all gestures of gratitude for all the hard work, security and support we receive from our fathers. May the blessings and love of our Heavenly Father be yours in abundance this Father’s Day and always. Remember strong men follow God! DEVOTION AND NOVENA TO ST. JOSEPH On Wednesday, June 18th at 7:00pm, after the statue of St. Joseph is carried into the sanctuary by members of the Holy Rosary Sodality, we will pray the Novena to our patron. We invite parishioners and friends to join us for this special service to ask St. Joseph to grant us needed personal and family graces. You may write your intentions on the petition cards available in the Our Lady of Czestochowa Chapel. Please indicate if you wish to have your intentions read silently or out loud. We appreciate your offerings with your petitions as a personal sacrifice in a given intention. PILGRIMS FROM THE CARIBBEAN Last Saturday, our Basilica was host to the Curacao Catholic Pilgrimage from the Diocese of Willemstad in the Netherlands Antilles Islands in the Caribbean. The group of fifteen people are visiting major Basilicas and Shrines of the Northeast United States and New York. A Mass was celebrated by Father Raul in Papiamento, the native language of Curacao, followed by a tour of our Basilica given by docents Sylvia Kitka and Joan Comeau. Tomasz Mamro was altar server for the Mass. The highlight of their visit was the opportunity to kiss the relic of St. John Paul II held in the hands of Father Raul. The people were fascinated by the interior of our church recognizing the teachings of our faith that is free of any language barrier. They took pictures and purchased several of Our Gift . . . .Our Legacy renovation books containing over 400 color pictures of our church as a remembrance of their visit. They are looking forward to visiting again next year. SOLEMNITY OF BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST On Sunday June 22, we will celebrate the Feast of the Holy Body and Blood of Christ, also referred to as Corpus Christi. This year, with such a busy time around the church and school. we didn’t have much time plan an elaborate procession through the streets of Webster. Next year together with Fr. Adam and other priests we will resume the old tradition which was established about 15 years ago. The procession will begin after 11:00am Mass to four altars, up Maynard St., to the 1st altar at Felician Sisters convent, down Robinson St., to 44 Lincoln Street 2nd altar (Plewa residence); down Washington St., up Whitcomb St., to the 3rd altar at the front of St. Joseph School and proceed to the final altar at the rectory. We ask all parishioners together with our parish organizations-with their banners-to take part in this solemn procession. Also, Parish Ministries, First Communion class in proper attire, Children of Mary, Altar Servers and Boy Scouts are asked to participate in this special occasion.

FESTIWAL!!! NOWENNA DO ŚW.
