Three Steps Ahead

Retro meets High-Tech... Lots of progress in the last few years! Now we feel it is time for a new Duesenberg catalog. We have new instruments in our product range, the highly acclaimed D-Caster, the much anticipated long scale solid-body D-Bass, and of course the Pomona 6 lap steel featuring our "Multibender" pedalling device. We have broken new ground for musicians by creating three analog effects pedals and the new vintage style "Doozy one" guitar amplifier. As you can see in our hall of fame at the end of the catalog, many of the top musicians in the world have also discovered Duesenberg. Above all we would like to mention Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member Mike Campbell (Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers) who caused great excitement at the Superbowl in 2008 playing his signature Doozy.. Of course we remained faithful to the established art-deco-style - but we have added several new inventions and developments, such as the new Duesenberg tremolo, the "Toaster" pickups and the "Z-Tuners". The frets of all our Duesenberg instruments are now processed with the German-made PLEK machine, a computer-operated technical marvel, which leads to perfect playability. Goodbye to buzzing strings! Further, the unique 3-step design used on Duesenberg headstocks and many of our hardware parts has become a worldwide trademark. Addition to our distributors in Europe, the US and Japan we were able to develop a market in Australia as well as Canada. Sincerely, Dieter Goelsdorf Founder and Designer of Duesenberg Guitars
