PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The new Cortem Group Lighting Fixtures EV..-5050L, EV..-5060L ed EV..-5060L1 Series with LED Remote Phosphor Tecnology are designed to provide an optimal replacement to te conventional incandescent lamps and to provide a valid alternative for the energy-saving lamps in hazardous areas where it is necessary to light up using light sources close to the operator and to the equipment. The configurations can be different , in ‘Ex d’ execution with the EV…-50...L series, and in ‘Ex de’ execution with EVE…50...L series . The new Lighting Fixtures EV..-5050L ed EV..-5060L series use a special LED Technology. In particular, they are provided with high power LED Philips Luxeon Rebel. An aluminium high performance heat dissipator, on which a LED plate is mounted, maintains the LED temperature within the expected limits. In this way, the EV..-5050L and the EV..-5060L series can be installed in external temperature Tamb=-20°C+60°C, condition that cannot be satisfied by the ordinary LEDs wich are normally installed till 35°C. The Lighting Fixture EV..-5060L1 series is a more advanced version of the EV..-5060L series and has been developed in order to satisfy more lighting requirements. This series can be installed in external temperature Tamb= -20°C +40°C but can really replace a 200 W incandescent lamp. The peculiarity of these new Cortem Group Lighting Fixtures EV..-5050L ed EV..-5060L series consists in the use of the LED Remote Phosphor Tecnology on explosion-proof lighting fixtures.

The LED Remote Phosphor Tecnology is based on a yellow semi-sferic light diffuser that, when the lighting fixture is on, absorbs the light produced by the internal LEDs and releases white light . Thanks to this technology several benefits are obtained : • Lighting fixture efficiency higher than an ordinary LED lamp provided with traditional diffuser ; • Energy saving and longer life (50.000 hours); • Strong reduction of the maintenance activities; • Anti-glare effect; • Reduced environmental impact thanks to the low consumptions; • Reduced disposal costs thanks to the absence of hazardous substances such as mercury or heavy metals. The EV…-50...L series allows to replace the lighting fixtures using incandescent and energy-saving lamps with a long lasting light source that ensure a better efficiency and an equal brightness comfort .
