6th November 2015 Report Card Day

Thank you to the DJs for entertaining the crowd with their musical selection and karaoke sessions that day. The money raised from the sales during the bazaar would be used for upgrading the school computer laboratory and for building a gazebo, a resting place for our students.

The school would like to take this opportunity to thank all teachers and students for their undivided commitment and amazing generosity. An overflowing gratitude to all parents who had been very supportive throughout. Without you, this event would not have turned to be a tremendous success. We are looking forward to next year project which is a musical performance by our talented students. See you then! Alexander Funk The Principal

Uniform Body Camp 2015 The annual Uniform Bodies Camp was held at Shittim Camp in Tamparuli on the 28th, 29th and 30th of August. The camp was attended by 70 students and 17 teachers. The objective for this yearly camp is to instil moral values and to create team spirits among the participants. The 3-day camp was heavily scheduled with various activities. On the first day, we had Station Games. We were divided into groups of 10. Each groups was assigned to complete a set of 12 tasks such as Balancing Beam, Tarzan Swing, Spider Web, 10 – Feet Wall and Army Crawl. In the evening, we had a delicious barbeque. Next day, we had jungle trekking. Equipped with a compass and some ropes, we bounced through thick forests, climbed up steep hills, pranced through plantation fields and crawled on hanging bridges. It was a tedious yet exciting trekking. Upon arrival at our destination, we had to build fire and used it to cook our own lunch. After a hearty meal, we took a dip in the nearby river. That night, after our Cultural Segment, we were taught how to tie ropes and set up tents. We had a competition on the third and final day. Each group set up a campsite using only the materials provided. Marks were based on the strength, creativity and neatness. All groups managed to build tents and some even made campfires. Before departing, we teamed up to clean the place and took many group photos. The friendship, experience and knowledge gained during the camp are priceless. I believe that all of us who were there at the camp would never forget such an educational and fun-filled camp in the years to come. Claire Yong (4 Modesty)
