At this time of year the Lac de St Cassien is not as tranquil as in this photo – neither is our valley! Many of you will be entertaining friends and family, and the IWCV is allowing you a summer sleep from many of its customary activities. However, there are a couple of changes to programmes already announced, so do check the information in the Newsletter. Enjoy August wherever you may be, and I look forward to seeing you in September, when the Autumn IWCV programme begins. Best wishes Jenny [email protected]

Party Dates for the Diary Thursday 8 September – Welcome Back Party – this will be held at the home of Denise and Scott Marshall in Seillans. As usual, bring a plate of finger food to share and drinks will be provided by the club. Think about sharing cars with friends as the parking will be very limited close to the house. Final details will be in next month’s newsletter. Tuesday 6 December – IWCV Christmas Party – to be held at the Hotel Moulin de la Camandoule. Further information will follow.

Sunday 18 September - Pot Luck Lunch There is a final PLL to be enjoyed and it will be held at the home of Aurora and Ernst Hille in Montauroux. Many thanks to Aurora and Ernst and to all our other hosts for their help throughout the past year If you would like to book in for this lunch, please contact Diane Riddell [email protected] Tel: 04 94 40 18 98 Mobile: 06 35 47 51 83

Sunday 2nd October 2016 - IWCV Brocante stand This will be held at the brocante behind Intermarche in Tourettes. Please save up your unwanted items for the brocante and either bring them on the day, or pass to a member of the committee during the week before.
