Wedding Day:

This is your day! Our makeup and hair artists will work with you to create a look to suit your style and personality. Please feel free to speak up and be honest about what you like or don't like. You won't hurt our feelings, just enhance your experience! On your wedding day, makeup usually takes 45 minutes for the bride and attendants. Bridal hair takes 1 ½ hours and attendant hair is allotted 45 minutes to 1 hour for up-do, half up-do or long blowout. Shorter blow outs and flower girl styling is allotted 30 minutes. Total timing depends on size of wedding party, but we try to schedule enough artists to keep your prep time under 5 hours. Bride's hair and makeup should be complete upon photographer's arrival. Which is usually 1 ½ hours prior to the ceremony. We do not recommend that the bride go last. We will stay until you are in your dress and the veil is on for any touch-ups for you or your party. Extra friends and family will be accommodated for last minute requests on wedding day if time allows (this happens to us all the time after seeing how beautiful everyone looks). Ample space for your artists and bridal party will create a less stressed atmosphere. Each artist arrives with 2-4 bags of equipment. Therefore, an average hotel room is usually not enough space for us all. Your makeup-artist will choose everything you need for a fabulous face. Lipstick and Lip-gloss are sent with your wedding day artist and can be purchased for touch-ups during the day. MMF will provide you with a touch-up kit including: additional powder, blotting papers, hair spray, bobby and safety pins, mirror, etc for touch-ups. Previews: We offer preview sessions that take about 3 hours for both hair and makeup. Please wear white or ivory. We also recommend you bring any inspirational photos and hair pieces or veils. Additional time is allotted to take photos and document your final selection. Preview sessions are highly recommended for all brides. Done at our Ballston Spa location. We are closed Sundays and Mondays. We only schedule previews on weekends if there are no weddings scheduled, which is rare. We feel this is the best practice to be respectful of all our brides on their wedding day. We often have Saturdays available for previews during January, February and March. Please contact the bridal coordinator to schedule your trial session at least 3 months in advance of your wedding day. The Fine Print – Please Review Thoroughly:

I agree not to hold MMF liable if my bridal party members or I are unhappy with their hair/makeup on wedding day. I understand that MMF follows strict hygiene standards, but in the rare case that someone may have a reaction to any of the products, my bridal party members and I will not hold MMF liable. _______ (please initial) MMF will make every effort to have my preview stylist/artist available but understand that from time to time another MMF stylist/artist may be assigned to my wedding. If any of the members of my wedding party are unable to pay or bounce a check, I am responsible for making good on the monies owed. _______ (please initial) If you cancel, MMF retains the deposit paid at time of booking.
