sing these words - Loyalty and Novelty - Mr. Daniel Souppat, the show patron and President of the french ACAS (Association du Cheval Arabe de Show), has welcomed the participants to the Vichy International Arabian Horse Show B in the ex-capital of France: Vichy. Under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Saud Al Qasimi, the show has been held on 25th and 26th July in a lively atmosphere.  Many french breeders has enthusiastically taken part in the show together with the other 9 nations competing for the title.  At 9 am, Saturday the show began on time with yearlings, colts, fillies and mares classes, all judged by the A class judges Mrs. Claudia Darius (Germany), Mrs. Renata Schibler (CH), Mrs. Silvie Eberhard (Germany), Mr. Jerzy Bialobok (Poland) and Dr. Mohamed Machmoum

(Morocco). The ring master was Mr. Alain Ladek, who everybody remembers as the ring master in red uniform at the Paris show.  The Disciplinary Committee, in the name of the loyalty, was composed by Dr. Malak Benamar (Morocco), Mrs. Serenella Zerbini Santoro (Italy) and Mr. Santiago Fernandez Bermejo (Spain). The arabian sound designer was Mr. Hassan Valsan. The Secretary Office was managed, loyally and professionally as always, by the well known Mrs. Margot Chazel and by Mrs. Cristiane Durand-Souppat.  This year the streaming and the scoring on the video have been managed by Arabian Horse Results - another big news - and the speakering has been committed to a new and young voice, the one of Mr. Arnaud Bertero, at ease in the show. Hotel’s park restaurant where the guests have admired the show of one of the most beautiful horses in the world, Marajj (Marwan Al Shaqab X Rja Khouress by Kouvay Bey) owned by Albidayer Stud, which has been the main sponsor of the show. The magic atmosphere arised from the voice of Marajj’s manager, Mrs. Dawn Martin commenting on the show professionally performed by the handler, Mr. Tom Oben, have awed all the guests, in a frame of lights, sounds and smoke effects. Besides, another big news on sunday morning was a Riding Class, a competition between four very well known

participants.  The winner was Mrs. Christina de Kragh with the stallion “ARNELLE ACAPULCO” (Js Marrak X Platinum Fantasie), who has left the second place to Mrs. Nathalies Colas with “BAHREYN JA” (OM El Exquisit X Nusaibah). The old mares and young and old stallions’ classes were up next. The show had a break for the lunch before the final Championship, during which the Club Automobile de Lapalisse, invited by Mr. Souppat, offered to the guests a city

Tom Oben Best Handler of the Show tour riding in vintage cars, some of them dated back to 1931, reaching the river side for the lunch. In the afternoon the final Championship was held and all its results are available on the Arabian Horse Results website. Amongst the many wealthy special awards, the Best French Horse award went to “ELAN DE MARC KA” (Qr Marc X Espadrilla). Best Foreign Horse, Best in Show and Gold Medal Champion to “JAJDA AL RABI” (Majd Al Rabi X Shatha Al Rabi) brought by Mr. Tom Oben who won the Best Handler Title in addition to the prizemoney. The Best Egyptian Horse went to “WAZEER AL SHAQAB”
