Moolman, Small & Liebenberg, opened their doors 1982 with three in-house Loss Adjusters by names of Piet Moolman, Jan Small and Ben Liebenberg. Shortly thereafter, Mr Liebenberg sold his shares in the company to the remaining partners, Jan Small and Piet Moolman. Jan Small recognized the opportunity to involve his son, Johan, his late son Martin and daughter, Amanda in the business, and this saw the launch of J Small Assessors in 1996. Since 1996, J Small Assessors grew from strength-to-strength and even saw the inclusion of Jan’s grandson, Johan Jr. in 2006. J Small Assessors is a family owned, independent professional automobile assessing firm, whom embrace the policy of outstanding client service. Our vision is to provide the best and most comprehensive service to the industry. We aspire to be regarded as the most respected and trusted motor assessment firm countrywide. In 2003/2004, Jan Small was elected the Automotive Refinisher’s Assessor of the Year based on, not only his past experience and training, but also his current specialized knowledge of the industry. Jan Small, Johan Small Sr. and Johan Small Jr. are proud members of the Institute of Motor Assessors SA and currently serving on its Executive Committee, with Jan Small being one of its Section 21 Directors, Johan Sr. being the Chief Operations Officer and Johan Jr. the National Administrator.     

We are indemnified under Professional Indemnity for R2 000 000-00 / R4 000 000-00 per policy period. We are currently a 100% BEE Recognized Level 4 EME Company. We are fully Audatex certified. We have a drive-in assessment bay available. We make use of only the latest and most leading technology.
