About WOM India|In 1989, Worldwide Oilfield Machine India was founded in Pune, India to serve the worldwide market. The in-house forging plant known as Magnum Forge, was established in 1997. The success of Magnum Forge quickly opened the doors for Magna Casting in 1999. WOM India is a global company that presently employs approximately 1,500 employees. Worldwide Capabilities|Since its founding over thirty-five years ago, Worldwide Oilfield Machine’s entire staff has focused on a single objective: to provide customers with the most reliable flow control products developed through technology, innovation and quality control.

In 1989, WOM established Worldwide Oilfield Machine, India, to provide support to the Middle East and Far East operations, as well as its plants located in strategic locations like Houston, Aberdeen, and Singapore.

WOM India’s present manufacturing facility covers 14 acres and is expanding to over 200 acres in order to keep up with the demand for a wide range of products. WOM India has a highly qualified staff and has expanded to have its own forge facility and foundry making it vertically integrated to offer support throughout the world.

From the raw materials to the assembly of the finished packaged system, few can manufacture engineered API pressure control components like WOM India.

Engineering|WOM India has a large staff of design engineers who take pride in innovation and continuous ongoing development of it’s products. The engineering staff takes an active interest not only in the design but also in the manufacturing and assembly activities of the products. WOM India has developed many innovative manufacturing processes and machine tools to cater to it’s needs such as a ball grinding machine, made in-house, that can handle turning a ball up to 36” in size; as well as, in-house special purpose machines (SPM’s) to handle drilling and other machine operations as well. The success of these machines and processes speaks volumes on the innovation and drive of WOM engineering.

Manufacturing| WOM products are manufactured by the highest applicable standards.Top of the line CNC machines are used for dimensional accuracy, precision machining and consistent high quality. Each product is inspected, assembled and tested with utmost care prior to shipment. This attention to detail ensures product quality and on-time delivery. Processes needing extreme quality control such as the hardfacing of gates and manufacturing of seal assemblies are carried out in headquarters in Houston, Texas. All buyouts like fittings, elastomers such as “O” rings, and stem packings are supplied from Houston as well.

The assembly and testing procedure of all components and assemblies are performed in a controlled area free from contamination. The assembly and testing conforms to API procedures, which are strictly enforced in order to maintain the high quality of our products, material spefications including heat treatment, mill tests and equipment tests are strictly documented in our manufacturing files which, when requested, can be supplied to the customer.
