GENERAL INFORMATION Why should I buy my ticket before the opening of Expo Milano 2015? You will take your first steps in supporting Expo 2015 and its important theme: ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life’! Plus, you can make great savings by purchasing your tickets before Expo 2015 starts. Ticket prices are lower now than they will be during the six months of Expo! What are the Expo 2015 dates and opening times? May 1, 2015 – October 31, 2015. Monday to Sunday: 10 am-11 pm. How can I purchase a ticket for Opening Day? Tickets for Opening Day may be made available at a future date and will be subject to different pricing and availability. What is the maximum number of people allowed into Expo in a single day? 250,000 Where is Expo located and how do I get to Expo? The Exposition Site of Expo Milano 2015 is a few kilometers from the center of Milan, in an area directly connected by three main city airports and by principal public transport lines. The Site is easily accessible by international and local travelers alike through a highly connected transportation system.. There is a dedicated Children’s Park where children may explore the Expo theme through fun, where they can enjoy activities and education games, but also relax. You may find more details on the Expo web site clicking here (http://www.expo2015.org/en/children-park). Will I have to queue or wait in lines to get in to Expo? Expo Milano 2015 is a globally important Universal Exposition in the legacy of the World’s Fair. Consequently, it will be extremely popular, attracting millions of visitors from all corners of the planet, so we advise all visitors to pre-purchase their tickets to guarantee entry without having to queue at the onsite ticket sales windows. At peak times queues will form, however be assured that Expo will do everything we can to keep entrance wait times to a minimum.

2. TICKET TYPES What is an Open Date ticket? An Open Date ticket may be used on any day from May 2 to Oct. 31, 2015 for a single visit, all day and evening, and is valid for entry from 10 am onwards. If you have an Open Date Ticket, for reasons of access flow constraints, venue capacity limitations and local law enforcement regulations, we recommend you visit MyExpo any time starting from this coming July to set the date of your Expo visit, and to check for available events on the day. Remember that once you have set the date, your ticket cannot be changed. Tickets that do not have a set date may still be used to access the Expo, if there is space available. What is a Fixed Date ticket? A Fixed Date ticket can be chosen for a specific date from our online calendar. How long can I stay at the Expo with a One-Day ticket? A One-Day ticket allows you to stay all day and all evening from when the gates open at 10 am until closing time at 11 pm. Is a Two-Day ticket for consecutive days or any two days I choose? It’s for consecutive days. For persons with disability and their helpers, are discounted tickets available? Yes, however not online, as a medical or official certificate must be presented for verification purposes. These tickets are offered at Expo Gate (Piazzale Cairoli, Milano), at some authorized resale locations (the list will be published shortly on the official Expo 2015 website) and at the Expo on-site ticket office. Tickets for persons with a disability who do not require a helper ticket may be for an open date or a fixed date. For visitors with a disability who have a requirement to have continuous personal assistance for either mobility, personal care or safety reasons, a helper ticket will be provided free of charge. The discounted ticket for the visitor with a disability and the complimentary ticket for the helper must be issued together and must be for a fixed (not open) date only. Do you offer discounts for students? Not online, as an official student card is required for verification purposes. Student tickets will be offered at Expo Gate (Piazzale Cairoli, Milano), at some authorized resale locations (the list will be published shortly on the official Expo 2015 website), at a future date through a call center and at the Expo on-site ticket office. What is the age range for an Adult ticket? 14 to 64 years of age on the date of the Expo visit. What is the age range for a Child ticket (within a family package)? 4 to 13 years of age on the date of the Expo visit. What is the age range for an Infant or Young Child to enter for free? 0 to 3 years of age on the date of the Expo visit. What is the minimum age for a Sr. Citizen discounted ticket? 65 years of age on the date of the Expo visit. How can I purchase a stand-alone Child ticket? Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult, and so all Child tickets must be purchased as part of Family Packages. A Family Package can include one or two adults.

What qualifications are required for Family tickets? A ‘parent/guardian-child family unit’ can be made up of one or two adults and one or more children. Please be advised that checks may be made at the access point. My family has more children than the two maximum in the listed packages. How can I add more Child tickets? Select the appropriate Family Package with two children and add additional Child tickets as required. A family of two adults and five children will therefore purchase a family package of two adults + two children, plus three additional children. After my original purchase, will it be possible to add another Child ticket at a later date? Yes, however not online. If an adult has already purchased a ticket, upon presentation of the original ticket (in printed form on a smartphone) it is possible to purchase a child ticket at a sales point such as Expo Gate (Piazzale Cairoli, Milano), at some authorized resale locations (the list will be published shortly on the official Expo 2015 website) and at the Expo on-site ticket office. Is it still necessary to pick up and use an Infant ticket (0-3 years) if I am holding my child in my arms or carrying them in a strapped-on carry pouch/sling? Yes, Italian law requires that tickets must be validated at the entry point for each infant or young child, even if it is our policy to issue those tickets at no cost for ages 0-3. Where can I request the free infant ticket (0-3 years)? It is not possible to request the Infant ticket online, as Expo or authorized personnel are required to verify a proof of age document from the parent/guardian. It is possible however, to pick the Infant ticket up before your visit by presenting your accompanying adult ticket in printed form or on your smartphone, at Expo Gate (Piazzale Cairoli, Milano) or at some authorized resale locations (the list will be published shortly on the official Expo 2015 website). The free Infant ticket must be for a fixed date only and therefore the accompanying adult must have a fixed date ticket or an open ticket set for a fixed date. Will tickets be sold for evening/night attendance only? Yes, but only during the six months of Expo (not before). Expo by Night admissions will run with entrance at 6:30 pm onwards. 3. GROUPS AND SCHOOLS How do I purchase tickets for a group of 15 people or more? Group tickets will be offered at a future date through a call centre, at some authorized resale locations (the list will be published shortly on the official Expo 2015 website) and at the Expo on-site ticket office. Are groups entitled to discounts? Yes, there will be a slight reduction to the Expo standard price list in effect at the time of purchase. Are their discounts for schools and how can schools participate in Expo? Expo 2015 has an official School Program for Italian and International school groups that approaches facilitates learning with experimenting with ‘at school with Expo’ and ‘at Expo with School’. It is divided into four phases: information in the classroom, Ideas contests, Expo Milano 2015 visit and a legacy of content. 4. OPEN DATE TICKETS AND THE REDEEM PROCESS If I buy an Open Date ticket, when should I set the date of my visit? We advise you to do it as soon as you are certain of the date of your visit. The functionality will be enabled in MyExpo area starting July 2014. Remember that once you have set the date, your ticket cannot be changed. When is the time limit for when I can still redeem/set my visit day? You may choose your date based on availability up to the day before your visit. After I set the date of my visit for my Open Date ticket, can I change the date? No, unfortunately not. What happens if I do not I set the date of my visit for my Open Date ticket? You are still welcome to go directly to the access point. You can still enter Expo if it is not sold-out or already at maximum capacity for the day you choose to visit. Access for holders of Open Date tickets which have not set their visit date according to the redeem process will be admitted on the basis of availability at Expo’s sole discretion and subject to access flow constraints, venue capacity and local law enforcement regulations. If you wish to visit Expo with an Open Date ticket which has not yet been redeemed, we recommend you check your preferred date on www.expo2015.org to see if there is still availability, before you travel to the Expo.

5. TICKET PRICING How much is the saving now compared to ticket prices during the period of Expo? Up to 21% depending on the ticket category chosen. Specifically, the 21% difference is for an adult, fixed date ticket. Does the ticket price cover all attractions and events inside of Expo? The Standard Entrance ticket includes access to all pavilions and the many different events taking place during the day and evening. The only exception is one theatre on-site that, due to its limited capacity, will host specially commissioned top-name performer concerts or shows. It will, at a later date, be possible to purchase a bundled ticket for a fixed date that includes a show entry, at a slightly higher tariff. Additionally, visitors will pay separately for any meals and organised tastings at wine- or cheese-based ‘events’. Does the price of the ticket include parking? No. Unfortunately, not.

6. ONLINE PURCHASES AND PAYMENT METHODS How can I purchase a ticket online for Expo Milano 2015? Select the ticket type, category and quantity of tickets that you would like to buy, click on ‘add’ and then on ‘continue’; confirm that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions and then click on ‘continue’ to complete the payment process. What technical requirements are there to purchase a ticket online? You must allow your browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox or Safari) to accept Expo2015.org cookies. What is the maximum number of tickets that can be purchased in a transaction? 15. Are there additional costs for the online booking service? No. Expo does not apply any additional fees to the face value of the tickets.

Is it necessary to register to purchase tickets? Yes. If you have not previously registered, you will be prompted automatically to register with the minimum information required to conclude your purchase transaction. What information is required for registration? At a minimum, you must provide your first name, last name, country, post code, email address and password. What payment methods are accepted online? Only credit cards may be used. The various cards accepted are indicated in the payment window. Payment by PayPal is not accepted. Is my purchase with a credit card secure? Yes. Expo uses the Setefi system which applies multiple security protocols for online payments. When and where can I buy a ticket in person at a sales point? You may purchase a ticket in person at Expo Gate (Piazzale Cairoli, Milano), at some authorized resale locations (the list will be published shortly on the official Expo 2015 website) and at the Expo on-site ticket office. The official list will display payment type information. How can I verify if a sales point or a company offering to sell me a ticket is actually a legitimate Authorised Reseller? Assure that the Reseller is present on the official Authorised Reseller list on the Expo web site. (The list will be published shortly on the official Expo 2015 website.) As the list will be in updated continuously with new Resellers, it is advised to consult the list directly at the time you are ready to purchase your tickets. Can I purchase tickets with a bank transfer or postal order? No. Unfortunately not. What does it mean if a date is not available? That specific date has already sold out of the maximum number of tickets allotted and therefore it is no longer possible to purchase a ticket for that date. Can I request a fiscal receipt or invoice for the tickets I have purchased? Expo tickets by Italian law are official receipts and therefore no additional receipt documents can be issued.

7. TICKET DELIVERY AND FORMATS How do I receive my ticket? After you conclude your purchase transaction, you will receive your ticket as an attachment to you email confirmation letter. Your ticket is also retrievable via download from the area MyExpo. We remind you that your ticket should be printed only once and is to be treated with care the same in the same manner as a purchased in a box office. Do I have to print my ticket? You can either print your ticket or save it on your smartphone. To enter Expo it is simply necessary to pass the QR code over the turnstile reader. Can I print my ticket in black and white? Yes. To assure quick passage at the access point it is recommended that you ensure you have a reasonable quality printout of the ticket data and a clearly legible (i.e. not blurred) QR code.

If I purchase a ticket for someone else, can I forward their ticket to them via email? You are welcome to forward a ticket if it will be printed and/or used by someone else. To avoid illegal duplicates and the risk of access not granted at the entry point, assure that you do not print the same ticket you forwarded, nor forward the same ticket to any other parties. Can I save my ticket in PDF format on my smartphone to show at the entrance? Yes. I do not have a printer, is it possible to pick my ticket up somewhere? No. Unfortunately, not. We recommend that you copy your ticket file on a data key to print elsewhere when convenient. Alternatively, you may purchase tickets at sales points such as Expo Gate (Piazzale Cairoli, Milano), at some authorized resale locations (the list will be published shortly on the official Expo 2015 website) and at the Expo on-site ticket office. Can I have my ticket sent via standard postal service to my home or office? No, unfortunately not. Expo is committed to the most sustainable and cost-effective delivery methods. Ticket printing instructions and advice 1. Verify that the ticket has correct information with respect to your purchase (for example: Adult, 10 May 2015 for a fixed date ticket on that date. 2. Check that the ticket image has a clear QR code image. It is recommended to make a visual comparison of your printed ticket on your computer screen. Assure that the QR code (square with checker-board style marks) is well defined and not overly fuzzy, pale or grainy. This is an important step to expedite ticket validation at the Exposition entry point. 3. Don’t re-size the ticket before printing (as it may render illegible the QR code). 4. Print each ticket on a single page of A4 paper (or A11 in the USA), taking care that printing is single side only. 5. Use a photo print quality setting with a minimum of 300 dpi. It is advised not to print in draft quality. 6. Assure that you fold each ticket separately only on the indicated fold-lines and not across the QR code image, leaving the QR code entirely visible on the outside of the ticket. 7. Do not cut or rip the ticket. 8. Do not cancel anything printed. 9. Do not write anything on the ticket that covers or cancels the printed data or the QR code. 10. On the day of your Expo visit, assure each visitor approaches the entry turnstile with their correct ticket in hand (for example ‘Family Adult’ and ‘Family Child’ tickets held accordingly). I have problems printing my tickets, how can I solve them? We suggest that you print your tickets as follows: 1. Disable any installed toolbars (google, yahoo or others) and/or disable pop-up blocking against Expo2015.org before starting; 2. Assure that check “Adobe Reader” is installed and up to date; 3. Close all non Expo active windows and enter the login and password you received when you registered on Expo2015.org; 4. Please check that the printer is on and properly linked up to the computer and that an A4 sheet of paper is inserted; 5. If you did not print your tickets after originally having placed the order and you are printing them later, you have simply to connect to the www.expo2015.org website and log in the "MyExpo" Area, where you will be able to access your Order History and download the ticket. 6. Wait for the ticket to display. The waiting time may vary according to web connection speed you have and the performance of your PC; Page 6 of 9

7. If you have printing output problems whereby the page jams, you accidently print on both sides of the paper or the ticket or QR code is not readable, be absolutely certain to tear up any originals before reprinting. In the case you still experience problems, we advise you to try again using another browser before contacting Expo customer service.

8. WEB SITE REGISTRATION How can I register on the Expo web site? Proceed with your ticket purchase and you will be prompted to register before final transaction confirmation. How can I modify my registration data? Enter MyExpo and click on ‘Modify’. Enter your changes and click ‘Confirm’. How can I retrieve or reset my forgotten password? Click on MyExpo, then on ‘Forgotten password?’. To reset the password, you will be taken to a page where you may enter your email address and last name that you entered for registration. For security reasons a new password will automatically be generated by the system and sent to you via email. You may then return to MyExpo to change the password if you prefer. Can I view my ticket orders? Enter MyExpo with your login and password. Within the personal profile you can choose the section Tickets to see your orders.

9. TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND VISITOR RULES Will my name be on my ticket? No. Are tickets transferable between people? You are welcome to purchase an Expo Ticket for other people and you may give an Expo Ticket to another person as a gift. Tickets are not nominal and access is granted to the ticket holder. Tickets, however, cannot be resold for profit or transferred for commercial, advertising or promotional objectives (such as prizes for competitions, etc.), without prior written consent from Expo. A Two-Day ticket must be used by the same person on both days and not used by two different people. Please be advised that checks may be made at the access point. Duplicate ticket (re-printing) warning The Expo access control system will authorize entry for only one ticket corresponding to a unique ticket code. Expo will not allow access in any case of duplicate tickets. If an Expo print@home ticket is erratically or intentionally printed twice and distributed to two different people, only the first person will be allowed entry to Expo. The second person will not be granted access as the ticket will have already been used and therefore the ticket they have in hand will be seen an illegal copy. Consequently, it is highly recommended to take extreme caution to protect your printed tickets and print@home PDF ticket files. Any copying or fraud from improper use of an Expo ticket is a breach of the Expo Ticket Terms and Conditions and prosecutable according to law. Can I bring my dog or other pet with me? Animals are not permitted into Expo, with the exception of guide dogs or other dogs required as companions for specific medical reasons. Please note there are no facilities

for dogs or other animals to be left while visiting. Is it possible to exit the Expo grounds temporarily and re-enter on the same day with the same ticket? No. Unfortunately, not. Can I write something on my ticket or cover/hide the ticket price? It is not permitted to write anything on the ticket that covers or cancels any of the printed data or the QR code, as those elements are key components of fiscal receipting required by Italian law and they are crucial for the ticket to be read and validated for access to Expo. Is there anywhere I can leave my luggage or heavy bags? Expo does not have any storage area, left luggage facilities or lockers available on the Expo grounds. Limited space pay-for-storage is available outside of Expo at “Fiera Milano” in Rho. What kind of entrance security will there be at Expo? Expo will employ international airport level entrance security and restrictions. All visitors must consent to a security inspection to be performed on him/her and/or on his/her clothing, baggage, containers before and during the entry to Expo. Is there anything I cannot bring into Expo when I visit? It is forbidden to carry any objects into the Exposition that may cause damage to persons and/or things, or cause disturbance, including, for example:  weapons, explosives, chemical or detonation instruments, tear gas, smoke bombs, knives, drugs and other illegal substances, fireworks, firecrackers, poles, flagpoles, large sticks, sharp or blunt instruments, lighters;  motorcycles, bicycles, roller-skates, skateboards, or other types of skates;  liquids including water, all drinks, lotions, oils, sprays and gels (in containers greater than 100ml/3oz) with the exception of essential medicines in larger quantities above the 100ml limit (subject to Expo personnel authorization) and with the exception of baby food and beverage (subject to Expo personnel authorization);  large volumes of containers of liquids, even if all within the permitted size;  electronic transmitting equipment (smartphones will be allowed), laser or disturbing instruments;  flags exceeding 2 x 1 metres (6.6 feet x 3.3 feet) in size, banners (exceeding 1 x 1 metres / 3.3 feet x 3.3 feet in size), smaller banners attached to a metal or wooden support;  objects bearing trademarks or other kinds of en-masse promotional signs (hats, Tshirts, bags, etc.) which can be perceived as ambush marketing, counterfeited Expo or Expo sponsors’ products, notices, brochures or unauthorized publications, advertising or promotional material of any kind, printed matter bearing religious, political or offensive content or content contrary to the public order and/or morality;  horns, musical instruments;  balls, rackets, frisbees or similar objects;  large quantities of coins;  bottles, cans or other containers made of glass or other material, flasks, thermoses, refrigerators, ice cube containers;  animals (except guide-dogs for visually impaired persons or other dogs required as companions for specific medical reasons);  smelling or dirtying food;  large objects such as suitcases, bags and folding chairs;  in general any type of material that Expo may deem dangerous or that may cause damage. Is smoking permitted at Expo? Smoking is permitted only in designated areas only. Is it permitted to take pictures and video inside Expo? Yes, however, images, video and sound recordings of the Exposition taken by the Ticket Holder may only be for private and domestic use and not for commercial purposes to be sold, licensed, broadcasted, published or otherwise. If my picture is taken or I am filmed at Expo, do I get anything? Each visitor consents to be photographed, filmed or taped by Expo or by third parties appointed by Expo at the on the Exposition grounds. Expo or third parties appointed by Expo have the right to broadcast, publish, license and use any photographs, film, recordings or images of the Exposition which contain the visitor without any compensation. . 10. NO CHANGES OR REFUNDS Can I change the tickets I have purchased? No, unfortunately not. Can I upgrade the One-Day ticket I have already purchased to a Two-Day ticket? No, unfortunately not. Are Fixed Date tickets refundable if not used? No, unfortunately not in accordance with the Tickets Terms and Conditions – Visitors rules. Are Open Date tickets that have been redeemed/booked for a specific date refundable if not used on the indicated date? No, unfortunately not. Can a Fixed Date ticket be moved to another date? No, unfortunately not. Can I cancel my ticket and request a refund? No, unfortunately not. If my ticket is lost or stolen, can I request a replacement ticket or a reimbursement? No, unfortunately not in accordance with the Tickets Terms and Conditions – Visitors rules. If my ticket is damaged or illegible, can I request a replacement ticket? No, unfortunately not in accordance with the Tickets Terms and Conditions – Visitors rules. However, if you purchased your ticket online from Expo whereby you have access to your original ticket file, you can tear up the damaged or illegible original and reprint.
