This program is designed to enhance language skills, build vocabulary, strengthen relationships, & increase student’s ability to engage in learning. The curriculum is designed by educators at the Museum of Science & will include enrichment in reading, writing & math. It will also incorporate engineering & design projects. ELL students will also have targeted language instruction and support in their first and second languages, provided by certified Framingham ESL teachers. Each morning, students will participate in the Summer Reading Enrichment Program (SREP), sponsored by Framingham State University. Through this assessmentbased intervention, students will improve their reading and writing needs and be motivated by reading success that will prepare them for the coming year.
