Carla Travis Webster defines anatomy and physiology as follows: I. anatomy the science dealing with the structure of organisms and their elements. 2. Physiology the scientific study of essential and typical life processes, activities and functions. This course will examine the structures and systems within an organism. Their components, their function and how they interrelate.

Standards

Perform daily husbandry procedures for animals Participate in class daily, attendance is critical and will be reflected in your grade Dress appropriately for kennel and lab work Assume responsibility for clean-up of his/herself in a manner associated with a laboratory/kennel Complete course assignments at scheduled times or it may be scored as a zero Complete test on assigned day. Missed tests made up only at teachers discretion Deactivate all electronic equipment prior to start of class
