We invite you to join us for another exciting celebration of arts and entertainment in Green Valley.  We gathered an extraordinary collection of artists and performances to create our most ambitious season yet! GVR Live! is proud to present the legendary musical group, The Drifters, as they travel the country on their historic reunion tour. Country music superstar, Pam Tillis, comes to town to perform her favorite hits with her acoustic trio.  GVR Live! brings back Billy McGuigan with his newest rock-n-roll revue created just for Green Valley audiences.  This season also includes incredible tributes to the The Eagles and the great singer/songwriter Carole King.  And back by popular demand, Broadway legend Franc D’Ambrosio and Masters of Soul also return to the West Center stage for encore performances.  We are extremely proud of our continuing partnership with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra.  Last season, the TSO shared insight into their various programs and performances through preshow discussions.  We are pleased to announce that these discussions will, once again, be offered to our patrons to enhance the wonderful musicianship that TSO brings to our stage.  With every GVR Live! season, we hope to provide an outstanding arts experience that will enhance the lives of our community members.  We see arts and entertainment, not only as a way to entertain, but as a way to contribute to the well-being of those we serve.  A vibrant arts program contributes to a vibrant society with emotional connections to the people and the world around us.  It is these connections that promote good citizenship and camaraderie within our community and makes Green Valley a wonderful place to live.  Thank you for being a GVR Live! patron.  We look forward to sharing another wonderful arts and entertainment season with you.

Cocktails in the Courtyard with Jarabe Mexicano 6 p.m. Thursday, October 20 Join us for a celebration of the GVR Live! 2016/2017 Performing Arts Season with Cocktails in the Courtyard. This evening under the stars in GVR’s West Center courtyard features the lively and eclectic music of Jarabe Mexicano. Touring Mexico this summer under the auspices of the U.S. Department of State, Jarabe Mexicano takes its name from the Spanish reference to traditional forms of mariachi music. The ensemble incorporates the diversity of their backgrounds and musical training into a vast Latin repertoire that includes traditional Boleros, Huapangos, Sones, and Rancheras as well as contemporary Cumbias, Reggae, Doo Wop, and American Standards. The dynamic energy and festive nostalgia of this musical fusion appeals to wide audiences, from children to adults. A recent appearance at the Independence Day Celebration of the Mexican Consulate met with a typical enthusiastic response, with attendees dancing along with the compelling musical rhythms.

They were the first musical group to include string instruments into Rhythm & Blues music with their hauntingly beautiful song, “There Goes My Baby.” They were the first musical group to sell two million records with their pop classic, “Up on the Roof.” They were the first African American vocal group to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Along with fellow inductees the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Bob Dylan and the Supremes, The Drifters were in the first class of Rock & Roll legends to be initiated into the Hall of Fame. Their classic “Under the Boardwalk” is the most played R & B record of all time. Their songs have been penned by such historic songwriters as Jerry Leiber & Mike Stoller, Carol King, Jerry Goffen and Phil Spector. On this historic reunion tour, The Drifters return to their roots for a monumental celebration of their 50 year musical catalogue.

“Up on the Roof,” “Under the Boardwalk,” “This Magic Moment,” “There Goes My Baby,” “Dance with Me,” “Spanish Harlem,” “Stand by Me”… the list of hits goes on and on. The Drifters, one of Rock & Roll’s founding vocal groups is once again touring the U.S. Since their inception in the early 50s, The Drifters have embarked on a historical journey, which included no less than 5 legendary lead singers, including Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Clyde McPhatter and Ben E. King. The group’s ongoing musical story has covered the entire spectrum of Rock & Roll.

All patrons are invited to this festive evening with dancing and complimentary beverages (some restrictions apply) to celebrate the opening of the GVR Live! 2016/2017 Performing Arts Season. This event is open to season ticket holders, GVR members, guests and the general public.

L. A. Theatre Works Judgment at Nuremberg 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 1

Ostensibly, the American-led tribunals were formed to prosecute those accused of war crimes committed during WWII against Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, people who were mentally and physically handicapped, and those considered inferior to the Aryan Race. But the themes explored in the play cover much broader and deeper ground: how compassion can become secondary to the rule of law; how human rights are compromised during times of conflict; and how politics plays a role in dealing with genocide – issues that remain relevant today. Judgment at Nuremberg poses a number of difficult questions: How can indefensible crimes be defended? How does a judge, committed to the law, enforce immoral and vicious crimes against humanity? Why, in the aftermath of WWII, did America pressure the courts to be lenient on the defendants? And, critically, what does America do when our foreign policy interests clash with our stated beliefs in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? In this absorbing and complex drama, a cast of unforgettable characters play out their high-stakes game against the backdrop of a looming Cold War, shifting political alliances, and the shocking and vivid memories of the Holocaust and World War II.

Hotel California A Salute to the Eagles 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 8 Hotel California A Salute to the Eagles was founded with the intent of filling the void left by the breakup of The Eagles in 1982. By blending their extraordinary vocal and musical talents, Hotel California faithfully and accurately reproduces the sound of The Eagles studio recordings while recreating a classic sound which undeniably transcends the boundaries of Rock, R & B, and Country. As the world commemorates the 75th anniversary of World War II, and as politics continues to infiltrate human rights and social justice issues worldwide, L.A. Theatre Works tours one of the great courtroom dramas of the last century: Judgment at Nuremberg. Originally a riveting teleplay, Judgment at Nuremberg became an Academy Award-winning film and a stage play that is both surprising and unsettling.

Bria Skonberg Hailing from Chilliwack, British Columbia, and now living in New York City, award-winning trumpeter/vocalist/composer Bria Skonberg is “poised to be one of the most versatile and imposing musicians of her generation.” She has earned a 2013 Jazz Journalists’ Association nomination for “Up and Coming Jazz Artist of The Year” and is included in Downbeat Magazine’s Rising Star Critics’ Poll for 2013. Skonberg got her start as a professional big band singer at age 16 doubling on trumpet, and has since performed as a bandleader and guest artist all over North America, Europe, China, and Japan. Since arriving in New York three years ago she has appeared in concert halls and clubs such as Symphony Space, Birdland, The Iridium, and Dizzy’s among the likes of Nicholas Payton, Anat Cohen, Wycliffe Gordon, Bucky Pizzarelli and Scott Robinson. Skonberg focuses on innovating while honoring tradition. Best known for her knowledge of classic jazz and pursuit of worldwide adventure, she is creating a style all her own rooted in swampy New Orleans grooves, featuring world percussion and contemporary soul-influenced vocals. Her debut American release, “So Is the Day” peaked at #7 on the U.S. jazz charts and features an allstar ensemble, including John Pizzarelli, Victor Goines and Wycliffe Gordon. Released on Random Act Records, 10 percent of all proceeds go to support the Jazz Foundation of America.

Tapestry: A Tribute to Carole King 7 p.m. Thursday, December 1 Carole King is without question the most successful and revered female singer-songwriter in pop music history. More than 400 of her compositions have been recorded by over 1000 artists, resulting in 100 hit singles. On the short list include: “Will You Love Me Tomorrow” for the Shirelles;“Take Good Care of My Baby” and “Run to Him” for Bobby Vee in 1961 (#1 and #2 hits); “Crying in the Rain” for Everly Brothers (#6 in 1962); “The Loco-Motion” for Little Eva (#1 in 1962); “Up on the Roof” for the The Drifters (#5 in 1962); “One Fine Day” for The Chiffons (#5 in 1963); “I’m Into Something Good” for Herman’s Hermits (#13 in 1964); “Just Once in My Life” written with Phil Spector for The Righteous Brothers (#9 in 1965); and “Don’t Bring Me Down” for The Animals (#12 in 1966).

With more than 25 million units sold, “Tapestry” remained the best-selling album by a female artist for a quarter century, and King went on to amass three other platinum and seven gold albums. Tapestry: Tribute to Carole King faithfully recreates the glorious sound of a Carole King concert, leaving your audiences with memories of the great music she wrote and recorded, including “You’ve Got a Friend,” “Natural Woman,” “It’s Too Late,” “So Far Away,” “I Feel the Earth Move” and “Beautiful,” the title song of the mega-hit Broadway musical about the life and times of one of America’s most prolific, honored, and revered singer-songwriters.

Riders in the Sky Salute Roy Rogers: King of the Cowboys Join Riders in the Sky for a thrilling ride to yesteryear as they salute iconic western movie, music and TV star Roy Rogers, the undisputed “King of the Cowboys.” This exciting western romp features audiencefriendly favorites from Roy’s long career that include “Don’t Fence Me In,” “Pecos Bill,” “Happy Trails” and more. The show also features film clips of Roy’s greatest moments on screen with Trigger, Dale Evans and Sons of the Pioneers along with a tribute to “The Greatest Sidekick of ‘Em All” – Gabby Hayes! Ranger Doug, preeminent signing cowboy historian, provides some biographical fun facts about Roy’s life from his humble beginnings as Leonard Slye from Duck Run, Ohio, to one of Hollywood’s most beloved stars, and his influence on a generation of musicians and western entertainers.

7 p.m. Saturday, December 31 Rooted in the Gypsy Jazz/Gypsy Swing and Latin Swing styles, Velvet Caravan is a high-energy, acoustic-based quintet of guitar, violin, standup bass, percussion, accordion and keys. One of the shining lights of Savannah’s burgeoning music scene, the band plays upbeat tunes from all over the world with thunderous virtuosity and relentless sense of humor.  Bringing together the eclectic sounds are a motley crew of super talented musicians from Venezuela, Serbia, Austin, Iowa, Boston, and Georgia.   Velvet Caravan has grown from a somewhat informal instrumental combo which routinely drew enthusiastic and loyal followers at raucous restaurant and bar gigs to a respected and admired touring act that’s as comfortable in an attentive listening room or large concert hall as they are in a crowded nightclub. Velvet Caravan’s unique ability to subtly shift musical gears without sacrificing their integrity as composers and performers is rare indeed. This has resulted in an envelope-pushing group that’s just as successful at dazzling jaded cocktail drinkers as they are at commanding the rapt attention of serious music aficionados in a whisper-quiet concert hall.

This New Year’s Eve Celebration at GVR with Velvet Caravan promises to be “one hell of a show.”

Andrea Bocelli Live in Central Park (Revisited)

The Revelers are a Louisiana super group who combine swamp-pop, Cajun, country, blues and zydeco into a powerful tonic of roots music that could only come from southwest Louisiana. As individuals, they are each in high demand having performed and recorded with T-Bone Burnett, Natalie Merchant, Linda Ronstadt, Preston Frank, Walter Mouton, Mamadou Diabate, the Duhks, Cedric Watson, and Tim O’Brien, to name a few. As a group they play with a sense of empathy and depth that can only be fostered after years of making music together.

Papa Doo Run Run 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 17 Formed in 1965, the now legendary California band, Papa Doo Run Run, quickly discovered their forte – they sounded like the Beach Boys!  That sound led them to surf music icons, Jan & Dean and, from 1976-1980, Papa toured North America with the duo. In the 80s, Papa graduated from J&D to the Beach Boys, and toured and recorded with members of that band throughout the next two decades.  Papa’s 1975 Top 40 hit “Be True To Your School” reached No. 1 in California.  Their ground breaking CD “California Project” exploded onto the Billboard Hot 100 Chart at no. 17 and earned the band a Grammy Nomination.  Papa Doo Run Run performs over 100 dates a year and their show includes all the great Classic Rock hits of the 60s and 70s, with a special emphasis on their award-winning recreation of Beach Boys hits.

The Revelers have taken their mission coast to coast in the U.S. and around the world from Ireland to Denmark, to their own Black Pot Festival in Lafayette, La. The depth of this band has only developed from digging deeper into the dancehall traditions of Southwest Louisiana and emerging with an arsenal we call Louisiana Jukebox Music. The Revelers have embraced that musical truth in a way few bands have — the lines between traditional and original are blurred, and wide-ranging styles are honed into an extremely cohesive performance and an impressive musical virtuosity across the board.

Schubert, Mozart & Strauss: 3 Major Works Tucson Symphony Orchestra 6:30 p.m. Thursday, February 2 Doors open at 6 p.m.  Preshow lecture begins at 6:30 p.m.  Performance begins at 7:30 p.m. TSO Music Director José Luis Gomez conducts his first concert in Green Valley! Haydn’s short, happy overture opens a program of major works by Schubert, Mozart and Strauss. Schubert’s Eighth Symphony, “The Unfinished,” with its immediately recognizable opening has long been a favorite of audiences for its expansive melodies and high drama. With only two movements, it leaves music lovers wondering what could have been. Mozart’s Symphony No. 33, moving from cheerful outbursts to ominous overtones then back to happy sounds, is another audience favorite. One of Richard Strauss’ more introspective works, “Metamorphosen,” sums up the program: completed the day after the destruction of the Vienna Opera House, pain is intertwined with hope and optimism, the essence of human existence.

On September 16, 2011, the Great Lawn of Central Park was filled with 60,000 adoring fans of one the most beloved tenors of all time, Andrea Bocelli. Accompanied by the New York Philharmonic under the direction of the great Alan Gilbert, not even the rains of Hurricane Maria could dampen this spectacular night of music. Joined by some of the biggest stars of both the pop and classical music scenes, the night was bursting with the sounds of Bocelli’s treasured hits.  A “pop culture extravaganza,” Bocelli, along with Celine Dion, Tony Bennet, Chriss Botti, and many others transformed one of the most remarkable and renowned urban parks into the grandest of Opera houses, the most opulent of theatre venues, and the flashiest of concert arenas, in an evening that exemplified the magic of New York City and the great Central Park concert series. Join internationally celebrated performers Jonathan Hawkins, Lee Lessack and Heather Lundstedt as they recreate this awe-inspiring evening, performing such favorites as, “La Donna Mobile,” “The Prayer,” “Time to Say Goodbye” and “Nessun Dorma.”

Billy McGuigan’s Rock Revue: Music from the 50s & 60s National touring sensation, Billy McGuigan (Rave On!, Yesterday and Today, Rock Legends) returns to Green Valley with a show developed and customized just for GVR’s patrons! Billy McGuigan has been touring North America for the past 10 years, and his shows have sold out countless performances and have broken box office records in six theaters across the country. Career highlights have included playing with Buddy Holly’s lead guitarist and Grammy Award winner Tommy Allsup, and Rockabilly Hall of Famer and writer of “Oh, Boy!” and “Rave On,” Sonny West. Billy McGuigan’s brand new Rock Revue takes the audience on a journey from the 50’s rock and roll of Elvis, Buddy Holly and The Everly Brothers to the psychedelic 60s of the Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin and many more! Starting in 50s, the show will hit all the favorites from two decades of the greatest music ever made, ending in 1969. Billy McGuigan, who the Chicago Sun Times called an “iconic and innovative performer,” will be backed by an all-star band of incredible musicians who will thrill audiences!

Ethel with guest artist Robert Mirabal The River 7 p.m. Thursday, February 16 Continuing a deeply successful six-year collaboration inspired by ceremonies dedicated to the sun, Ethel pairs with Robert Mirabal, Native American musician, instrument builder and three time Grammy Award-winner, present their next evolution of the cross-cultural concert experience. The inspiration this time is water as the embodiment of spirit, and its essential role in life on Earth. The audience is immersed in a flow of music, narrative, and ritual that evokes timeless Native American traditions through contemporary musical artistry. As delivered by these master performers, the effect is breathtaking, even ecstatic.

The program is an integral journey in instrumental virtuosity, song and storytelling, created uniquely for this event.  From An Kha Na to Peace Calls, through rushing rapids and still, sacred spaces, Ethel and Mirabal evoke the magic and majestry of The River, which connects us all. In retreat together at Mirabal’s home on the Taos Pueblo, each of the artists brought original musical or poetic works with special significance to the group: Mirabal’s own An Kha Na, his tribal WiWa, Kip Jones’ Tuvan Ride, Jay-Red and Tsoma, Dorothy Lawson’s Gat’te, Ralph Farris’ RanaRun and Waterfall. As the Pueblo River rushed past the door, storms came and went, and coyotes howled in the night, the pieces grew in scope and depth, each player contributing layers and insights.  Influences were drawn from Hawaii, Arizona, Mexico, Ecuador, Morocco, Nigeria, India, Mongolia, Tibet, Japan, and Soviet Georgia. In sum, the sound is dazzling, and the spirit full of generosity, love, and gratitude.  Every audience will find its heart healed and hope raised.

Tucson Symphony Orchestra presents Youthful Exuberance from Mozart & Dvorák 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 2

An Acoustic Evening with Pam Tillis As the child of Country Music Royalty, Pam Tillis was determined from a young age to find her own way in music as a singer and songwriter. After many false starts and much soul-searching, Tillis made the commitment to make an honest country record. The album “Put Yourself In My Place” yielded two #1 hits, two Top Five singles, and one Top 20 hits, and in its first year the album was certified gold. Tillis followed with three platinum albums on Arista “Homeward Looking Angel” in 1992, “Sweethearts Dance” in 1994, and an Arista “Greatest Hits” in 1997. Caladh Nua 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 7 Throughout history, Ireland has been embraced as a land of song and singers, of music and musicians; men and women who for centuries have been inspired and nurtured by the sounds and swells of her windblown nature. It is from the traditional heart of this musical island that Caladh Nua was born, raised and released into the world.

She has performed on the stages of Broadway in New York and is a proud member of The Grand Ole Opry. Some of Pam’s most memorable award moments are being a three-time CMA award winner including the prestigious 1994’s Female Vocalist of the Year Award, and being nominated multiple times for Grammy’s Best Female Country Vocal Performance for “Maybe It Was Memphis” (1993), “Mi Vida Loca” (1996) and “All the Good Ones are Gone” (1998).

To say Caladh Nua’s meeting and formation was a haphazard thing would be disrespectful to the ghosts of Ireland’s history and music. Each of Caladh Nua’s supremely talented and versatile members carry with them the musical legacy of those who have gone before. A buoyant finale to the MasterWorks Season! Anyone who saw the hit film “Amadeus” will enjoy hearing the opening music from it – 17-year old Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s brilliant Symphony No. 25. Antonín Dvořák was a newlywed when he wrote Serenade for Strings and it remains one of his most popular works to this day because of its beautiful, memorable melody. Villa Lobos’ Bachianas Brasileiras No. 4 is one of his nine compositions written as suites fusing the Baroque style of writing with elements of Brazilian folk.  Bravo! Marcelo Lehninger, Conductor.

Franc D’Ambrosio’s Broadway 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 21 Franc D’Ambrosio is best known for his impressive portrayal of the “Phantom” in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tony Awardwinning musical, “The Phantom of the Opera.” Affectionately known as the “Iron Man of The Mask,” D’Ambrosio was awarded the distinction as the “World’s Longest Running Phantom.” D’Ambrosio’s resume also includes an Academy Award-nominated film, an Emmy Award-nominated television show, a four time Tony Award-nominated Broadway show, two Grammy considerations, and a National Theatre Award nomination.

The Hands of Liberace starring Philip Fortenberry The Hands of Liberace is a celebration of Liberace performed by one of America’s premiere pianists Philip Fortenberry of stage and screen. Hear stories about Fortenberry’s time in residency at the Liberace Museum in Las Vegas where he played weekly for many years and then how he was recruited for the HBO’s film “Behind the Candelabra” starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon, where he was literally the hands for Douglas playing all of the piano music for the film. The evening is full of beautiful and intriguing stories mixed with some of the most famous music played by Liberace himself. As a versatile artist whose styles encompass a wide range of musical genres, Fortenberry is a performer with an equally expansive career. He was the pianist and associate conductor for the Broadway musical, “Rocky,” which earned him the inaugural Ghostlight Award as Best Musician on Broadway. He was honored with the 2014 Encore Award for Musical Excellence presented by the Nevada School of the Arts. A native of Columbia, Miss., Fortenberry holds a Master of Music degree in classical piano performance from New Jersey City University and is currently pursuing his doctorate of Musical Arts at the University of Nevada. A resident of Las Vegas, Fortenberry was the associate conductor for “Hairspray” at the Luxor Theater, “Mamma Mia!” at Mandalay Bay, and the North American premiere of the rock music extravaganza, “We Will Rock You” at Paris Las Vegas. He was the featured artist-in residence at the Liberace Museum where he performed his one-man show, “Liberace and Me.” Fortenberry’s critically acclaimed solo cabaret concert, “The Man at the Piano,” continues to play for sold out houses at Cabaret Jazz at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts. He is currently the associate conductor of “Jersey Boys” at Paris Las Vegas.

In the Community GVR’s goal is to strengthen the community through arts education and outreach programs by promoting the arts well beyond our role as a presenting organization. Through outreach opportunities throughout the community, we hope to promote a greater appreciation for the arts and build a healthy and thriving arts community. One way we do this is to bring live monthly performances to the residents of Silver Springs Assisted Living Center, who may be unable to attend performances at GVR’s West Center. Since 2012, GVR has scheduled entertainers to give a one hour performance at Silver Springs. Residents are delighted to be able to experience top notch performances from the comfort and convenience of their residence.

Another way GVR is reaching out to the community is by having our performers conduct workshops and lectures at local area school students. These experienced artists share their knowledge, experience and talents through performance-based demonstrations, hands on workshops, and lectures to expose them to the arts and entertainment field and foster a greater appreciation for the performing arts. GVR also works with educators to customize workshops and presentations that will benefit students. GVR is seeking many other opportunities to partner with a variety of community organizations by hosting workshops and lectures that help enrich our community as a whole. GVR Live! pays tribute to the men and women who serve our country with this inspiring production by Griffin Theatre Company. This special Veteran’s Day event allows audiences to witness the life of a soldier through their eyes. Letters Home puts the current wars in Afghanistan & Iraq front and center by bringing to life actual letters written by soldiers serving in the Middle East. Griffin Theatre Company’s production was inspired by the New York Times Op-Ed Article “The Things They Wrote” and the subsequent HBO documentary “Last Letters Home,” and uses letters and correspondence from Frank Schaeffer’s books, “Voices from the Front,” “Letters Home From America’s Military Family,” “Faith of Our Sons” and “Keeping Faith.” The play, without politicizing, gives audiences a powerful portrait of the soldier experience in the ongoing war. The initial production was critically acclaimed and was nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award for “Outstanding New Play.” Although the title of the play implies that all the letters are from soldiers, the piece includes a small number of correspondence from parents, being no less important. These letters were written under the most difficult of circumstances; the disorientation of training, deployment, separation from family and loved ones and combat, and occupation duties in Afghanistan and Iraq. One theme seems to unite their diverse voices; the belief that the person standing beside you is more important than you are. They also help define for the audience—patriotism and what it means to serve our country today, through acts of bravery, compassion, social responsibility, sense of community and brotherhood. Collectively the production gives a voice to a generation that went to war against terror in Afghanistan and to war in Iraq, for reasons that are still being debated and who are still fighting and dying today. More importantly, the play reveals the humanity that lies within the war as seen through the eyes of the men and women fighting it.

Just in time for the holidays, This Wonderful Life is a one-man play beautifully acted by Jeremy Kendall. Based on the iconic 1946 holiday favorite film, “It’s a Wonderful Life,” the production brings to life over 32 familiar people in an amazing display of physical and verbal virtuosity. Kendall portrays the Jimmy Stewart-inspired George Bailey, and the whole cast of lovable characters from Bedford Falls including Clarence the Angel, Mary, Zuzu and all the townsfolk who rely on him to save them from the greedy Mr. Potter. Like the film, the play centers around the character of George,  a man who has given up his dreams in order to help others, and whose imminent suicide on Christmas Eve brings about the intervention of his guardian angel, Clarence. Clarence shows George all the lives he has touched and how different life in his community of Bedford Falls would be had he never been born. Jeremy’s one man tour-de-force is at once inspiring, funny, poignant and most of all, uplifting.

Jon Reep 7 p.m. Saturday, February 11 Enjoy an evening of laughter with Jon Reep, the fifth season winner on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” who has also appeared on Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend” or the half-hour special “Comedy Central Presents: Jon Reep.” If it’s not from his standup performances, then you probably recognize Reep from his appearances on HBO’s “Eastbound and Down” and ABC’s hit show “Blackish.” He has also appeared on Dodge’s popular ad campaign, “Hemi Guy,” where Reep is known to millions as the red-headed hillbilly famous for leaning out of his rusty beater and uttering, “That thing gotta Hemi?” You also know Reep as the redneck farmer from “Harold and Kumar: Escape Guantanamo Bay” and TV host of “Are you Faster than a Redneck?” on the Speed Channel. Now based in Los Angeles, Reep is one of the hardest working comics in America, performing on television, in films, and selling out clubs and theaters across the country. His show is supersonic energy filled with non-stop characters, super clever writing and, of course, the one talent that separates Reep from all other comedians in the world: He’s the best redneck dancer since Elvis.

All GVR Live! events are held at Green Valley Recreation’s West Center Auditorium, located at 1111 GVR in Green Valley. The auditorium is located near I-19 and Continental Road, and may be accessed from La Canada.

Accessibility The West Center, including the auditorium and parking lot, are ADA accessible. ADA designated parking is available in the north and west parking lots. GVR makes all reasonable accommodations for those with special needs, including those with service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, with advance notice. Please inform the Box Office when you purchase tickets if wheelchair accessible and companion seating is required. The House Manager will identify patrons with accessibility needs prior to opening the auditorium doors for seating. Patrons who have accessibility needs will be seated with the assistance of the House Manager and volunteer ushers. Release of Accessibility Seating All wheelchair accessible locations and the adjacent companion seats will be held for purchase exclusively by patrons who have a member of their party who is a wheelchair or scooter user, or who has a mobility disability or whose disability requires the use of the features of the accessible location, until the last nonwheelchair accessible location/seat is sold. At that time, all wheelchair locations and adjacent companion seats will be released for sale on a first come, first served basis to patrons with or without disabilities.
