If you are looking for an opportunity to deliver your message to an audience of more than 1,000 professionals in the field of education, why not try the CCSSO National Conference on Student Assessment (NCSA). Our annual conference draws large audiences of administrators and educators from the national, state, and district levels who have a strong interest in student assessments and curriculum at the local level, as well as large‐scale assessment. As a sponsor and exhibitor, you will receive prime visibility to an audience seeking educational solutions that you can provide. Sponsors and exhibitors who partner with NCSA gain access to exclusive marketing potentials in addition to an array of valued benefits. What’s more, companies and organizations unable to attend the conference can still access these valuable marketing opportunities by having their name and message visually promoted to this highly sought‐after audience. Available sponsorships are listed in the following pages, but if you don't see what you want, be sure to contact us. We are flexible and willing to work with you to design a sponsorship package that will fulfill the needs of your business or organization. The Conference The primary objective of the NCSA is to promote sharing of information and best practices that will help states achieve their educational purposes through having the strongest assessment systems possible. Assessment systems include those elements essential to assessments (e.g., content standards) and assessment infrastructure, such as the technologies necessary for conducting high‐quality assessments. The conference also supports professional development, assessment research, and accountability systems that use assessment data. This year, the NCSA will focus on "Closing the Gap: Building Equitable Assessment Systems for All Students." States have demonstrated their leadership and commitment to ensuring the success of all students by adopting college‐ and career‐readiness standards. To accurately measure students' academic performance and their progress toward college and career readiness, states have transitioned to high‐quality assessments. Many states implemented new assessments in the 2014–2015 school year. Results from these high‐quality assessments can help states better understand how the overall student population is performing as well as to identify what gaps exist between different groups of students. The goal of the 2016 conference is to move beyond the creation of these assessments and give states a forum to share the best practices, strategies, research studies, data, and resources that support states in using high‐quality assessment systems to help narrow or close gaps between groups and improve academic achievement for all students.
