elcome to Gibson County, Indiana, and the campus of Oakland City University for the 2016 Christian College National Invitational Tournament Championship. All of us here at Oakland City University are delighted to be the host institution for the 2016 Christian College National Invitational Tournament. We congratulate each participating student/athlete and coach for the accomplishments and successes during the 2015-16 basketball season. Your endeavors have culminated in an invitation to compete in the CCNIT Men’s Basketball Championship that involves eight outstanding Christian colleges and universities. This week will provide every participant, from athletes and coaches to spectators in the stands, the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to and community in Jesus Christ. May the Christian spirit of love, justice, and fair play direct all of our activities, not only in this tournament, but in each day of our lives. I would like to offer a special word of thanks to all of those who have given so much of their time and effort to make this tournament possible. It is no small feat to bring together eight competing teams for a week of back-to-back, great basketball! We appreciate all that you have done. Again, we welcome you to the campus of Oakland City University and trust you will have a great week of fellowship and basketball.
Yours In Christ,
Dr. Ray Barber, President
T
he Tournament Media Director for the 2016 Christian College National Invitational Tournament Men’s Basketball championship is Oakland City University Sports Information Director David Hose. David will provide half time and post game statistics to each team for each game, as well as providing members of the media, including newspaper, radio, and television, with statistics, feature stories, and interview opportunities. It is our desire and responsibility to make certain that each school’s results are reported to the respective school’s media outlets in a timely manner. After each game, national, state, and local media will be contacted in an effort to ensure proper media coverage of the Christian College National Invitational Tournament. Pre-Tournament statistics will be provided to the members of the media prior to the start of the tournament, and after the first day’s competition has been completed, an updated version will be prepared and ready for media personnel prior to the start of action on day two. A final updated version of the tournament’s two-day statistics, including both team and individual statistics will be ready prior to the start of the final day of action. Complete tournament coverage will be provided by Pete Swanson in the Princeton Daily Clarion, beginning Monday morning prior to the tournament through the tournament’s completion. Swanson, an award winning sports writer, will be in attendance at each of the 12 games of the tournament. Special thanks to Chips Inc., in Ft. Branch, IN, for designing the CCNIT T-shirts. Again, WELCOME to Gibson County and Southwestern Indiana. We know you are in for a GREAT WEEK!!

Season Review
2015-16 Yellowjackets Roster
Coach Nelson Jones brings his Allen University team to the CCNIT for the first time in 2016. The South Carolina based team is led in scoring by Richard Wilson, a 6’2” senior, with 14.0 points a game. He is followed in the Yellow Jacket scoring column by 6’4” sophomore Ivory Drummer (11.6), the only other double-digit scorer on the “Jacket” roster, but the team does have four other players who average at least eight points a night.
