This lively little Sauvignon is bursting with vibrant zesty citrus fruit and a hint of exotic guava . Hugely refreshing, this crisp and aromatic wine is endlessly quaffable. Soft super-juicy ripe fruit and a long full-flavoured finish. An award winning wine and its easy to see why. Brilliant on its own but why not try with our Garlic Mushrooms.

A beautiful pale straw yellow wine which is light and vibrant and should be appreciated for its zesty, citrus character, notes of green apple and pineapple and refreshing acidity. Try with Fish, Smoked Salmon Blinis.

Deliciously fresh and fruity with the Sauvignon Blanc coming through on the nose. Aromatic and floral with a lifted lightness that suits many summer dishes. Fanstastic value, interesting and something a little different for a weary NZSB crowd. Staff favourite, goes with everything! Try with creamy Chicken dishes, Brie tarlet, and most fish dishes.

Chablis of the South. Classic Picpoul de Pinet with a pretty floral nose, very refreshing on the palate and an attractive grapefruit and lemon peel finish. Try with Asparagus in Parma Ham.

Lovely texture here - classic gooseberry and grassy nose, ripe, dry and juicy with more gooseberry and tropical fruit on the palate. Enjoyed with another larger glass

Engarrafado (‘bottled’) in 2016. Bright and clear citrus straw colour with greenish glints. Fruity with aromas of lemon and lime citrus fruits. The palate is shows traces of tropical fruits, crisp freshness and a good, clean, lengthy finish. Made for fish, Seabass especially, also Moules.

Floral and fruity aromas create an elegant bouquet. This wine reveals good minerality and balanced acidity. It is full and soft with a pleasant, lengthy finish. With proper storage, Cento Filari has the ability to age gracefully for up to 3. Enjoyed with anything Italian, Smokes Salmon Blinis, most fish.

Clean and pure Sauvignon Blanc, with teasing acidity, a squeeze of lemon and a mineral streak. This fruity and mineral wine comes from a parcel of 25 years old vines which are planted on terroir of limestone, clay with flint.

Red Wines This easy-drinking wine comes from Chile’s renowned Valle Central Region, where long hot days are followed by cool nights. This temperature difference ensures the grapes ripen slowly, so they develop maximum flavour. This is simply outstanding wine for the money, soft super-juicy ripe plummy fruit and a long full-flavoured finish. Great with duck and burgers.

Lots of berry and plum fruit, with spicy notes on the nose. A flavoursome palate with savoury stewed and currant fruit ripeness, which merge well into lingering oak flavours and soft tannins. Great with Steak.

Produced from South Africa’s signature red grape grape variety, this is an intensely fruity wine with strawberry, raspberry and cherry flavours, and a hint of ripe banana and smokiness so typical of Pinotage. Best enjoyed with Duck or smoked meats.

Typically juicy, with lots of delicious red fruits, a lick of oak adding some vanilla, and soft tannins at the finish. Every mouthful is so enjoyable. This staff Favourite goes with everything! Especially paté and Pork.

SO Italian! From just below Piedmont. Light & bright with juicy vine-tomato acidity and bramble fruit. Ruby with violet nuances, concentrated aroma and flavour reminiscent of woodland berry fruits, pleasantly fresh and fruity. We enjoyed it with Bruschetta, cured meats, paté.

Hacienda Lopez de Haro is a wine of intense colour with a pleasant bouquet, in which the elements of mature fruit stand out. In the mouth it is soft, expressive and elegant, combining a fruity character with the notes lent by the cask in perfect balance. Try it with baked Camembert or fillet steak.

Deep coloured with a very alluring nose filled with very ripe blackberries and a hint of blackcurrant jam. The sweet fruit is lush and mouth -filling, ripe and dense with some savoury and spicy notes. Best enjoyed with Steak. Meat, meat, meat!

Huge Amarone-style red made from dried grapes. “Declassified” as it also contains Merlot. Punchy, lush, bitter/sweet, outrageous bargain. Great with Cured meats, fillet steak, cheeses.

A pale salmon pink colour with a delicate yet lively nose of fresh raspberries and wild strawberry Delicate yet lively nose of fresh raspberries and wild strawberries. Crisp, light and fragrant on the palate with succulent finish. Great with Parma ham and Asparagus.

Wildwood is made using only the ripest grapes from California to produce a youthful wine with aromas of fresh cherries and watermelon. On the palate, flavours of juicy ripe strawberries and sweet candy are incredibly sumptuous and ever so moreish. Low alcohol at 10.5%. Best enjoyed with Tiger prawns, smoked salmon.

Clear peach colored rose with nice silver reflections. The nose is refined and aromatic, with aromas of white peach, citrus fruits and a touch of minerality. round, with a nice volume and notes of peach. The final is fruity and crunchy with great length. A well balanced wine, between roundness and freshness.

Certified Fairtrade, the 2016 Cab Sauv Rosé is juicy yet dry on the palate, bursting with ripe dark fruit but with a delicious savoury background. Definitely a grown-up rose, this has enough fruit to drink on its own but enough acidity to ensure a succesful partnership with food, especially with spicy dishes.

Fully sparkling, lightly fruity and properly dry. Clean and fresh on the palate.

Elegantly fruited, with some cherry, rhubarb and custard. Clean fresh flavour, dry but moreish. Very good.

A brightly fruity Prosecco giving tropical pineapple, pear, and vibrant apple notes. This is not an austere, dry wine; it is a delightful sparkling wine for any party. Staff Favourite goes with everything! Why not try a cocktail?

Long championed as the benchmark, everyman Grand Marque house style. Ripe Pinot Noir fruit with light citrus notes and a hint of spice. Incisive, Chardonnay-led freshness, with a clean supple finish.

The nose is expressive and charming, with notes of white peach, honeysuckle and quince, followed by some brioche and exotic fruits. On the palate the champagne is full and quite open, beautifully balanced and with real richness, with touches of ginger and apricot jam.

This winery makes Noble One,the top Oz dessert wine for many years, so it’s no surprise that this cheeky little half massively over-delivers. Loads of juicy tropical fruit. We enjoyed it with Fruit puddings but equally good with some lighter cheeses.

A port style wine made from fortified Argentinian Malbec, genius! Red/purple in colour with light brown hues due to it’s ageing. Immensely concentrated, ripe plums, black fruits, marmalade, dried figs and nuts with final spicy notes like cinnamon, toasted almonds and leather. Excellent with dark chocolate or on it’s own at the end of the meal. Enjoyed best with dark Chocolate and most cheeses.

Warre’s was the first Port house to make late bottled vintage wines by bottling without any fining or filtration after four years in cask, before maturing for four years in bottle. Acknowledged as the finest of its type. Also great with dark chocolate and hard cheeses.
