Richly flavoured, these wines have a rich, ripe, fruit-led personality. With the weight of flavour to cope with strongly flavoured seafood, chicken and pork dishes which may be lightly spiced or have a creamy sauce.

Low yielding old bush vines deliver excellent concentration of fruit, this richness balances perfectly with barrel fermentation giving a delightfully balanced wine that has a full flavour.

La Closerie de Camensac is the second wine of Château Camensac, a 65 hectare estate in the Haut Medoc just over the boundary from Saint-Julien. It is medium-bodied with vibrant black currant fruit and nice concentration. The cassis and summer cherry flavours are complimented by attractive, silky tannins and toasty notes.

With a history of wine spanning back 5000 years, Romania is firmly re-establishing itself, post-communism, as a contender in the world of wine. This pinot noir shows delicious aromas of summer fruits and enticing note of cinnamon. Noroc!

The late harvest grapes give characteristic notes of ripe fruits and raisins. The short oak ageing adds notes of spice and vanilla. Reminiscent of the Amarone style famous in the region.

Powerful and spicy with typical black pepper, plum and berry fruit aromas and flavour. A very full-bodied palate but with ripe, velvety tannins giving a smooth, rounded finish. From 80’s electronica to organic wine making seems rather a leap for us ordinary folk. For Yello’s front man, Dieter Meier, its all part of his raison d’etre. Sourced from old vines situated 1000 metres above sealevel, Dieter has created a rich, intense and powerful wine.
